What about Master's Sun? O.o
i included I hear your voice and Marry him if you dare b/c they werent mentioned in the supernatural article and i felt they deserved a mention, though for different reasons. in the interest of talking about as many dramas as possible i try not to repeat stuff that's already been covered.

I Hear Your Voice is a weird show to be placed as romcom. Whatever it is, it is one of my top favourites for the…
i find that often in k-drama it's the shows that arent trying to be overtly funny all the time that are the funniest. IHYV also suceeded where many other dramas this year failed (i'm looking at you 7th grade civil servant) and that is the balance. the show had comedy and romance along side some really dark messed up stuff and it all balanced really well and it never felt like you were wathcing two different dramas the way i did with 7GCS or Who are you

Pretty sure The King of Dramas and Cheongdamdong Alice are from 2012 though.
i did the same article last year and did not include dramas that were still airing at the time the article was complete. both king of dramas and CDD Alice did not finish airing until january. they were specificailly left out of last years article.

"Young Hwa. When did he learn how to act ?" ....well he didn't. That's how.
compared to his performances in heart strings and YB i felt like he did a much better job.

Even though i've watched nearly all of these dramas, IHYV and The King of Dramas are the only two that I really…
yes, but i believe cheerful soul covered that in her rundown of the supernatural dramas article.

Title Bel Ami
Just coming from watching ep 10 and there goes another cliff hanger. But I'm really liking this show. But how…
i dont think they've mentioned if he knew ma te's name or not. but half the ethnically korean population has one of three surnames. aside from those, there are only 250 other surnames that are currently in use. there also seems to be a comparatively small pool of given names used in korea. i've never once seen a character give more than a moment's pause when they come across someone with the same names as another person they know. they're all "Lee min ho? certainly that cant be, OUR Lee Min Ho died in a fire twelve years ago!" in dramaland they never consider it could be the same person. i've always assumed this was because of the small name pool.

Title Golden Rainbow Spoiler
Hmm... is this drama good? I'm feeling a bit skeptical about this drama. Can anyone tell me if they're liking…
i like it, but for me there is ALOT of stuff that i find boring to watch, mostly the bussiness stuff and the elders sitting around the room repeating the same stuff to each other over and over and over again.

so does her older brother have feelings for her? i think hes only sees her as a sister but idk...
several times Man Won has appeared uncomfortable with physical contact that would have been acceptable for siblings but seen as significant for unrelated persons. i think he is uncomfortable b/c he has feelings for her and he's affraid she'll notice.

Why did they change it to Boys Before Friends??? That doesn't make sense. But I thought it was funny when he just…
they changed the name b/c Hana yori dango is a japanese play on words. hana yori dango can be translated as either boys over flowers or dumplings over flowers. the later is a japanese saying meant to impart that we should favor useful things over frivolous things. obviously most americans wont get why the title is clever. in america titles that have to be explained arent common.

i did too. between boys in friends is probably going to be a train wreck too, but 17 seconds out of a 20 some odd hour production can't tell you if it's going to be an entertaining train wreck or not.
Skye-N-Rain Dec 13, 2013
i stand behind my original stance that hana yori dango in all it's incarnations is a cheesy, over the top horribly written story acted out by horribly dressed actors most of whom at the time of the shooting couldnt act their way out of a wet paper bag with a map and flash light. it's a train wreck and it's fun to watch.
