I’m a subber for Viki and they do give us Viki Pass Plus for subbing and honestly I think that’s a big enough…
i guess it depends on how much of your time you spend subbing. if it's more than 2 hours a month the price of viki pass plus doesnt even cover minimum wage in the US, and we have a disgustingly low minimum wage.
Holy Moly, now what? I was watching Secrets of Three Kingdoms and Are You Human Too? on their site not but 4 hours…
i keep hearing from people outside of the US that netflix has a good stable of asian drama. yea, netflix USA has the beginning of a good library now, but it's nothing compared to DF. my guess is now the dramafever is out of the game some of those licences netflix wasnt able to purchase for the US since DF had them will now be up for grabs. probably start seeing alot more on netflix int he US.
there are laws in japan having to do with sexual assault that define a minor as a child 12 or under.
they have other laws which apply to individuals under 18 but those can only be applied if the relationship is deemed to be unethical, immoral or harmful.
there are laws, that have nothing to do with consent or assault (as far as i know, someone please correct me if i'm wrong) that do define a a minor as anyone under 20.
A question for those who read the book (careful if you didn't watch the show so far, SPOILERS ahead) :Around Ep15,…
in the visions both LLT and LD look different than we see then throughout the drama. at the end of season 1 LLT has adopted his new look but LD hasnt. my guess would be that the visions are addressed in season 2.
if you were talking movies, i'd say any of them could do it, but as far as TV series goes none of them are going to air 90% of what goes on in either version.
nothing even remotely like the UK or US versions could ever be aired in SK. Sanitizing it for SK censors would completely strip it of all it's reality and grit.
the original actor is korean. shortly after season 2 got green lit there was some political turmoil b/w South Korea and China so the Chinese government banned korean entertainment (there some nuance to this that you can look up if you're interested) season 2 was filmed during the ban which lasted about a year.
Okay, everyone keeps complaining about characters or plot but...Have any of you noticed how UNFITTING the OST…
YES omg. like ok, you want to go with a modern OST, great, it can be done. A knight's tale pulled it off beautifully. but this? the music they pick rarely fits the vibe of what's going on.

BIL said the same thing about it looking just like an anime.
