over the years i've seen lots of bloggers and vloggers talk about it, both native Koreans and foreigners living in SK. i myself have never been to SK so i can't speak from personal experience.
i would love to see korea tackle a faithful to the book adaptation of Howl's moving castle. the anime is wonderful in it's own right but it bears almost no resemblance to the book.
IU would make a wonderful Sophie and i could see Kim Jae Joong or Kim Jae Wook of wizard Howl.
I dropped all of these also!!! All EXCEPT it’s ok, that’s love. Please finish this one, you will not be disappointed.…
i keep hearing that but i as i said i know where it goes from here and have no desire to watch it. it's great that others enjoyed it so much but i'd rather watch things i might enjoy instead of things i am in fact already very disappointed by.
Replace actress with novelist and this is a complete rip off of a VERY famous EXO fanfic.... The fic was written…
people with this specific memory disorder using notes or notebooks of memories has been kicking around for almost 20 years in movies.
the writer of the fan fic you mentioned could be said to have ripped off the movie 50 fist dates where a teacher is injured in a car accident, can't make new memories but eventually falls in love and uses memory note books so she can remember the man she loves.
Why do these shows produced or supported by Viki appear to be written by teenage fans? Poor writing and throwing…
this is not an A-list drama, they didnt have the budget for big names and experienced writers. they are just trying to crank out something that is going to make money and those cliches work.
I've met an autistic person before who was very childlike. He loved playing video games.
i know many adults who love playing video games as well.
i didn't say it was inaccurate for all autistic people, i said it was reductive. often in popular culture instead of exploring the complexities of ASD writers and directors go the easy route and create characters who conform to stereotypes which are based on misunderstandings of what autism is.
in all versions of the good doctor for example instead of simply presenting and developing an autistic person who is smart enough to graduate medical school and had a genuine talent and passion for surgery (which is FAR more likely to happen) they go with the stereotype of an autistic savant even though it is incredibly rare.
the child like portrayal of an autistic person feels a bit reductive. very few autistic adults with this level of function are so child like.
however my daughter receives treatment at a clinic that is attached to a school for autistic kids/ young adults, so i've had lots of oppertunities to interact with people on the spectrum and i do have to say that kento's body language is spot on. all autistic people are different, but the way he holds his shoulders and fidgets all feel very genuine.
So, if I am already a Viki subscriber I don't get anything extra for signing up for this? It sounds like they…
pros :the subs are fast and reliable. they have a great, growing library with lots of currently airing/ recent titles
Cons: the user interface is clunky and nonsensical and sometimes the site just straight up doesn't work. the customer service is a nightmare. they're unresponsive and most of the reps dont know English well enough to understand the problem or offer a solution. in fact the 4 times i've tried to solve a problem via C.S twice they pretty much just said "oh well" and the other two times they simply stopped replying to my emails.
honestly i've never come across an office romance this well executed that focused so much on the leads.
usually there's a lot of other stuff mixed in that gets at least as much air time of the leads together. i really hope the romance/ other stuff ratio where it is.
I agree, it was like they just added him to drag the episode count...
also, if they are trying to suggest he died in that last scene he was in you could literally see the actor's heart beating in his neck very prominently b/c of the angle. so i couldn't figure out if he was supposed to be dead or asleep and he died later and they just didnt show it. i dunno.
Yes, it's gonna be partly a rant comment, so you've been warned. Why does HJE always have to play loud, clueless,…
it would have been great if she chose to be a stay at home mom as well. that's the whole point of feminism, women being in charge of the choices for their lives and not getting judged for them.
