Season 1 was the worst of all (a lot of politics, boring scenes and random time skips) but it gets better with season 2 introducing a lot more characters while it picks up in action (yet it has more sadness and suffering) which continues in season 3 and wraps up in a nice ending in the movie.

All I can say is that I had a love/hate relationship with this series..during the first season I’ve wanted many times to just drop it and skipped the boring scenes but thankfully I didn’t give in to the urge and it got better and better with my favourite being S3 where their scheming payed off and the movie that wrapped up their story nicely.

A lot of questions were left unanswered but at the end of the day, it was worth it.

I like Xu Kai but the suffering was real..absolutely boring at times..The only good points I found were the actors as there are quite a few talents in this series which I will keep an eye on from now on.

With all the comments on this page, I’m gonna sit this one out..I’m not prepared for sad endings..

I didn’t get to start this series so I cannot defend this particular FL but really now..

I don’t know how many Chinese series you have watched, but I found a lot of smart female characters around (either first or second lead) which were just as described, if not even more intelligent.

Also, there has been an increase of well written characters these past few years so to generalise it is a bit too much..

I liked it but the last episodes were a bit boring..I feel like it just wasn’t intense enough. For a detective drama it should have a more darker tone but it has a relaxed pace. Bonus points for kisses and pairing as they were all cute.

Princess Agents gets better after a few episodes in, at least that’s how it was for me..I skipped a bit and read the novel in parallel (which is wow). Also, the series was supposed to have two seasons so it ends weirdly. After you finish it, continue with the novel (it’s translated fully on different sites).

I’m fairly sure she chose Hyun Sung at the end so even if SJ came back, they’re all just friends. It’s funny to see their antics as she’s so fun to tease..

At ep 21 rn and while I like both Kyung Woo and Minji, I feel bad for her, I don’t believe that he deserves her as he pays her no attention while she cares a lot about him. I wish she could move on but then again, I’ve been there and know that it won’t be easy..

Haven’t seen this drama yet but Two Weeks seems a bit similar as it has a fast pace, there is a kid involved and has the same actor but this series, at a first glance, seems more complex..

For me it’s basically the other way around..because I saw that drama and love the main actor/ I’ve seen most of his works, I want to check this one as well..

It’s not available for some countries, for example in UK but dramacool.so has it.

As the webtoon continues, there will def be a season 2 but I’m bitter that it will most likely follow the original story and my ship isn’t gonna sail..

In these serie the FL becomes stronger and fights for the less fortunate but she is not really a princess: Princess Agents, Bloody Romance, General’s Lady & a princess in The Romance of Tiger and Rose. I’ve probably seen more like these but cannot remember them rn..

It had potential to be a good series as it had a strong and funny start but it went downhill from the middle. I feel really sorry for the actors as they can all play much more complex characters, yet they had to try save a sinking ship..

Even taken as a light series, a lot of things are left unanswered or are forced.

Both Li Zhao and Qing Liu are characters that seem to at least change to some degree as both became more mature and responsible (they sacrifice again and again until they loose their life or come quite close to it) but is it worth it?

Another thing that wasn’t there for me was their chemistry..It was fun watching them bicker and care for each other but can’t see them as lovers. Our stone faced ML was cute when he smiled and looked dependable when fighting but they did him wrong with that hairdo..

Cute series to watch while waiting for episodes on other ones. Nothing too major is happening.

At first I couldn’t understand how the FL could be soo stupid to trust anyone..she’s basically lucky that she has intelligent people around her to save her from different situations and offer her opportunities to advance in life..also his kisses are flammable I swear..

Ah, Jing Yi, I’m so tempted to pass on this drama now although Song Wei Long is one of my favourite actors...

I’m already a few episodes in and I keep asking myself why I started this torture..the FL is annoying and stupid & I don’t understand why these men like her..

Maybe if the actress was good I could’ve at least suffered through as I have eye candy but this is General & I all over again for me (both actresses are really bad at expressing emotions).

I really want watch this because of Hawick Lau but all these reviews are saying the series is bad..

I think I rewatched this drama at least 20 times over the years.This series is in no way perfect as it has a lot of issues but I still go back to it.

So many people get slapped and hit, it’s like they can’t use words to talk like mature adults.

The main woman is definitely loud and dirty (she hit him numerous times, vomited and peed on him - truly disgusting) yet somehow I still felt bad for her.

The main lead is no saint as well as he leads her on only to get back to his ex-girlfriend, enjoy his time with her and still try to lead on the FL. That’s inexcusable and while the bickering between the leads is fun, he doesn’t deserve either woman.

Now as for good points..My favourite characters are the kid and the foreigner as they’re innocent in all this mess..

Also, it’s interesting how women over a certain age are seen undesirable, especially if they’re not slim and beautiful.
