Ep 5: I don't understand why the delivery guy ran away from the scene of the crime if hes innocent. Yeah they tried to explain it that he has a past of convicts but running away from the scene when you know you're innocent just makes you suspected as the criminal. Why not act on the scene and try to help the guy then explain what happened? I don't know if the writing is too predictable or I've seen too many cases in dramas where I know what was gonna happen. The most obvious rule in detective cases in dramas is that when someone is assumed the criminal and easily caught, they are of course innocent. So it was obvious to me that at least one of those 2 guest characters were lying that the delivery guy did it. The you see the bruises on the "victim's" arm, now it's likely that the woman is the or one of the culprits. Of course when the FL detective went to their apartment with her back turned and the guy is nowhere in sight, he smashes her in the back of her head with something. Hopefully at the end of this case, the FL apologizes to the delivery guy and learns to not just assume someone is guilty because of their criminal history right away. This just seems like a rookie/villain move by judging based on their past history and ignoring their side of the story of what happened. She even got a warrant almost made for the delivery guy.
Just by reading the summary of the drama, this is basically like Lovely Runner? lol. I will give it a chance tho. It sounds a bit better than Lovely Runner
Overall the drama was a fantastic watch. It won me over. I really love the characters, pacing, the cases, and the soundtrack. I don't like rich ML's so much but this drama did a wonderful job in making me like him because of his personality and character development. This show has heart.
Before I watch episode 15/16, I'm gonna make a guess that the plot twist is gonna be Mr. Choi(Jin Insoo's secretary)…
You know what, after completing the drama I apologize and the way it went worked out pretty good after all. Mr. Choi staying as the wonderful person as he is to then become the new chairman of the company is good. It let's Isoo continue working as a cop. Although I wonder if they ever will have him go take real training.
Before I watch episode 15/16, I'm gonna make a guess that the plot twist is gonna be Mr. Choi(Jin Insoo's secretary) is the killer after all. It would be a bit sad since he's such a wonderful nice character. The obvious suspects would be the stepmother and Isoo's brother Seung Ju but I don't know that feels too easy. Their motive to kill Isoo's father/chairman for the wealth and company feels a bit predictable. They were just apart of a recent crime getting caught too.
Maybe it's some other on screen character that I'm not thinking of.
I really loved the OST in the background of episode 10 the scene where Gang Hyun offers Isoo a ride home and breaks through to him to go back home and cherish the memories of his mother.
Ep 2: I don't understand how is the ML a detective so dumb to turn his back on a criminal and gets stabbed from behind. Yes you shot his arm and his blade weapon fell but the blade weapon is still somewhere on the floor and his other arm can strike. Handcuff the criminal first and then save the hostage. VERY STUPID OF THE ML
Also if the SML who is a judge and figured out the criminal tore the bottom piece of paper with some of the jurors home address, why not do a better job to warn them. Something like stay away from your home ASAP because a criminal is possibly heading your way.
I can't wait for season 2.
