Ep 4: It feels like 90 percent of the time when a child thinks the MC is their long lost parent but it will turn out to be false. I kind of want it to be true here maybe with Wook and Bo Ra.
I don't mind if they sprinkle in some teases that Jong A likes Wook.
I've seen 4 episodes so far and it feels a bit slow/forced. Also this drama is giving me makjang/family melodrama the stuff you find in those long 100 episode kdramas. That's the vibes of what I'm getting from this drama
There's something I'm confused about Ji Woo and her father
She got bullied at school because everyone knows her father is a gangster working in the gang with the ML. He even was on the wanted list. But then it's revealed he was a undercover cop this whole time fitting in with the gang to eventually arrest the ML.
Did her father never shared with her he was a cop all this time? When exactly did he went undercover in the gang? Why did he use a identity that made him revealed as Ji Woo's father that got her bullied at school? She doesn't get bullied at school if no one finds out that's her father. What was even their father daughter relationship like before he goes undercover? What was special about their bond that fuels her for revenge besides he's my father.
So a mystery person saved Gang Gon from dying from the priest. The mystery person looks obvious to be So Young's father as he was there at the scene before the police. It also has to explain that he has some sort of supernatural healing powers to become Gang Gon woke up with no wounds or pain after being held upside down trapped suffering from the red laser whip.
I dropped this at ep 68. Yeah so it seems the villains here don't even learn a lesson or suffer for their cruel deeds. This ain't worth it for me anymore. I only watched this because the FL actress is a favorite idol of mine.
This drama has bad writing I don't want to stay and suffer seeing those villains not facing their consequences
Hyun Sung's father is giving in and accepting the marriage between his son and Na Young. A marriage that doesn't make sense at all to happen besides she's pregnant. "That's our grandchild. We have to accept their marriage." Then there was the news about the 2 at a hospital spreading causing their hospital stock to drop. Another part was the stepmother threatening to ruin their reputation if they abandoned this relationship.
Na Young schemes all of this to get closer to that family after she destroyed her sisters reputation/career. She finally gets exposed for the things she did. The Han family except for the father doesn't even consider the person Na Young was to scheme her way into this relationship. That stepmother will be more insufferable living off the wealth of the family her daughter is marrying into. The stepmother should be kicked out and divorced but yet she's gonna stay and never learn her lesson.
If Na Young wants to change and be forgiven, she should raise the child herself. Tell your mother to not go threaten them or yourself beg for this marriage. Even lie to them it's not his child. That's how you make the character repent their cruel deeds.
ep 62: This can't be happening..... Na Young gets pregnant with Hyun Sung. His father Jin Tae the only logical person being against it and their relationship. These mothers just going along the route of oh she's pregnant with his child he has to take responsibility so they have to marry. Na Young being pregnant is such a bs idea to let her off free still marrying into a rich family even if she gets exposed for the bad things she did.
Worse is that stepmother is just gonna stay with the family because of this marriage or they all forget to kick her out. I wouldn't be shocked if they all forget to kick her out after letting her back in for her not having a place to live. Well no sh*t that's what you deserve.
It's like the same for the grandmother. At first she was against the future stepmother and her kid for living in the house. Then when she finds out the future stepmother got pregnant with a son from a affair, she wanted Sun Young(FL birth mom) to go along with it raising the son that isn't hers. She was OK with her son having the affair because the woman got pregnant and it was a boy.
It's honestly pathetic and disgusting to watch the step sister making moves onto the ex of her step sister(FL). She basically stalked his address and coincidentally enough there was a open apartment room next to his for her to move into.
Even worse, she tried to free her of the guilt by thinking a apology to Soo Ji would work. You got to be such a selfish dumb heartless person(which she is) to not be able to read the room that after everything you did to make your step sister's life being destroyed, a apology would solve it.
Maybe I'm overreacting but these long daily dramas don't usually end up punishing the awful awful characters. It's gonna be somewhat of apology and they're forgiven after what these good people had to suffer through for long those terrible people wil get off the hook easily.
All the women in the family Soo Ji has had to live with in her life are horrible people. I don't want to see them with some happy ending or Soo Ji being stuck with them at the end.
Ep 36: Soo Ji living at Woo Ri's family house in the spare room will be so helpful in her recovery. That house and family is gonna be full of love and caring.
I only wish they ended the episode without the misunderstanding comedy stuff between the leads. I got 2 ideas of how the episode could have ended. One is Woo Ri's mother asks Woo Ri who just returns home to bring a cup of tea for their new tenant to welcome them. Let's say it's not quite night time where she goes to sleep. So he knocks on the door to see Soo Ji open and both are surprised.
My 2nd idea is that Soo Ji actually accepts their offer to eat dinner with them. Let's say Woo Ri arrives home sooner while they are eating. As he enters the home for a welcome back, he and Soo Ji have a shock reaction of seeing each other in the same house.
I'm having flashbacks to another long daily drama where Eun Jung's character had a mother who showed more love…
I hope there's a drama or film out there where Eun Jung plays a character that actually has a caring lovable sister to her character. It's so sad and tiresome to see her character having to deal with a despicable sister.
I'm having flashbacks to another long daily drama where Eun Jung's character had a mother who showed more love to the other daughter instead of Eun Jung which is happening in this drama
So far I'm confused about one thing, the FL's actual birth mother who left her is now the mother of the ML? What? How is this gonna work when the FL and ML eventually become a couple? Why does it have to be so complicated like this?
