Ep 10: OH! What a plot twist. First Sorimachi Takashi makes a guest appearance and now Nodate the chief of the team is a bad guy after all. The Beach Boys duo of Sorimachi Takashi and Takenouchi Yutaka on the same sides after all.
I like it since Takenouchi's role was just a supporting character with little impact.
Looking back it is kind of cool to see both actors who played Wong Fei Hung(Jet Li the first 3 and last and Vincent Zhao the 4th/5th) fight each other in this film.
Ep 11: I wondered if they could have found a way to write one full episode thinking Kim Do Ki was dead. We know he didn't die but what if they went one episode until the end actually believing he died and a reason he survived but doesn't contact them until the end. Then we get the emotional reunion.
Ep 6: The punishment for Mr. Kang kind of felt lackluster. If Do Ki was gonna leave him at the dump in a pile of garbage, why not bury him way deep so he can't escape.
Because they just revealed the Ha Joon guy was of course a spy and a bad guy. He even finds the Kang guy homeless at the end.
I just thought to myself OH GOD NO. Please don't tell me they are gonna do something similar with the new villain like how it happened in season 1 where the villains of the past episodes return to take revenge on the rainbow taxi team. The idea in my head seeing the end here was the new bad guy could recruit the villains who got destroyed by the rainbow taxi team. I hope I'm wrong
The new taxi driver guy, isn't this the most obvious set up to be revealed as the villain ever.
If he is revealed that he is the villain who just tricked them all then the Rainbow team should not be shocked at this. These guys are very clever I hope I am to believe so. The new guy has discovered their secret room and sneaked in to discover more. He even moved into a apartment downstairs where Do Ki lives. I'm just saying at least one of the team should be suspicious and seen it coming if it happens.
It's being thrown to the viewers face that he's clearly suspicious. We wont be shocked if he's indeed fooling them all along and so should the Rainbow team. He's either undercover into their team or the most annoying cringe guy trying to fit along with the team.
Eps 1-2: Pretty good. The case kind of reminded me of the first 2 of s1. It was nice to see a emotional reunion scene of the father and son to wrap up the case. Definitely missed those moments fron season 1 in the first 2 cases.
Just my opinion but I was not happy to see that funky lady who wears Chinese clothes back. I didn't care for that character in s1 nor that case. I wish they left most stuff from s1 alone.
I love it in episode 1 where they are playing the intro music as Do Ki is in the taxi about to head out but the garage door doesn't open automatically so he has to go out and manually lift it up which pauses the music for a bit to then resume it again. The same for Sung Chul when he's trying to start the van but it doesn't start. So he gets out of the van and kicks the car to get it to start. Music paused then resumed again
In the first case, The teams CEO Sung Chul asks Maria she can invite her orphanage friends/siblings to visit and…
I wish they track down the cop who beat up and forced the innocent father to confess to the crime. That crooked cop deserved to get punished by the rainbow team
Sung Mi has maybe the worst set of goons/thugs I've seen. And she was what the main villain
Does not plan correctly and let's the one guy escape from getting his organs removed. Then her other goons on the bus get surprised attacked by the prisoners the Rainbow taxi team captured and they were free or take over.
Why did they writers have to do this? Those awful inhuman disgusting creeps were set free and almost caused more disgusting acts again but of course Do Ki beats them up. This time they finally sent to prison.
It was already horrible enough having to see those characters first introduced living free but then seeing them get another chance at it made me sick.
Currently seen 11 episodes. After the 2nd case, I didn't enjoy them as much as the first 2. Mainly because of…
In the first case, The teams CEO Sung Chul asks Maria she can invite her orphanage friends/siblings to visit and gifts them toys. Go Eun let's Maria work for awhile at their company and shows off her Microsoft Word skills and praises her. Then after everything is fulfilled, at the end Maria waves tearfully goodbye and thanks to Do Ki for helping her.
In the 2nd case, Sung Chul buys food items from Jung Min's(the second victim) mother's(she's deaf) market stall. But also created a scholarship and awarded to Jung Min. Also Do Ki advising Jung Min to not skip any more school days or he can pay back in months for the fee.
Currently seen 11 episodes. After the 2nd case, I didn't enjoy them as much as the first 2. Mainly because of the heartfelt happy endings to their cases after Rainbow Taxi fulfills the revenge. But then they sometimes have the team fulfill revenge for cases people don't ask them to. Ok but I would have still loved if they met with those victims and share the news about it or something sincere. Here's some examples below of moments I wish we kept getting from the team and the victims after the cases is done.
I like the cast of the villagers in s1 better. They focus too much on kids here. The drama felt more thrilling in s1. I didn't care much for the villain and didn't like how they had to continue on with the bad guys fron s1.
I really enjoyed the father and daughter relationship between Wook and Bo Ra. It was fun to see the trio of the leads again. The OST was probably better here. I liked the entrance being the tree in front of the store is where the missing people appear for the first time. Go Soo's long hair was great looking.
Ep 11: The writing for the ending of this episode is dumb
The ML followed the nurse to the hideout of the Doctor who is the killer. He then decides to go inside like a idiot and ends up being beaten up from him in a fight. The doctor tosses the phone into the fire and the FL is vanishing.
Why doesn't he call the police the moment he arrived at the hideout? How about ask the FL to look inside to see the doctor is in there or not. Why are you going to confront the killer you are not a cop or have fighting skills.
I like it since Takenouchi's role was just a supporting character with little impact.
