Does anyone know the actress that is the female leads friend and a doctor at the hospital? She sometimes calls her sister. In episode 3, she is at the party who welcomed the female lead when she arrived.
Just finished episode 1 and thought what if they could send a message to how people change as they grow and don't meet your expectations of them. Like the male lead so far doesn't like Ai for who she really is but not knowing that it is her. So if she were to reveal that she is Ai, he stays to his words about how he doesn't like her or he changes his opinion because its Ai his childhood friend/crush. But I think it will be like other male boss/female worker dramas where one dislikes one another while throughout they develop and like each other. But I see them making Sosuke learn to like Ai for who she is know not the past.
So I just finished episode 1 and very much like it. I love the design and colors of the jackets they wear. Suzuki Ryohei as the main lead with his character of a hero figure is pretty good. I was impressed how at their ER car that they did a surgery in it. I also like how Kitami is athletic or so while he is a doctor. This drama kind of reminds me of code blue but with an ER car than a helicopter. The drama also has politics in it which I don't quite like but it connects to the plot. I hope they still focus more on saving patients and so than the politics.
From your list, I would highly recommend Good Doctor and Radiation House to others. Both are on my favorite dramas list. Both medical dramas but Good Doctor is more emotional while Radiation House is touching and light heart. I loved Kento's acting in Good Doctor, and the bond between him and Ueno Juri. In Radiation House I loved watching Igarashi "chase" for An to remember and their moments while they become closer. Also started to enjoy the cases as well.
Not the best drama in the world but pretty solid from the early 2000s. It's not really about the baseball team but more about Kirishima and his impact on the team and town along with the growth of him. As mentioned above in the plot, it felt like they were building to some romance between Kirishima and Mizuki but at the end no kiss to acknowledge it. It was actually Mizuki falling for Kirishima but no real footage of them being a couple although last episode almost gave it.
THEY BROUGHT BACK NAKAO, KOIKE, AND SAEKO, what a nice surprise ;_;Aragaki Yui showed up as well! But Yamashita…
Oh thats actually not bad. I saw the reunion of Gakki and Masami on Twitter. We already saw Saeko in episode 1 but Koike and Nakao back is surprising. I like Nakao, and his character in season 1 was underrated. Welp, sad that Yamapi couldn't make an appearance.
My overall thoughts on the drama: If it weren't for that event that occured at the end I might have loved this drama. I can't say it was bad too because I enjoyed some characters. I can now say after all Hao Tian and Dudu was the best couple. It wasn't the most romantic couple with many romantic moments but it was cute and fun. From the moment they met and argued, I knew they were meant to be. They were more of a couple that brings laughter but they still got some emotional moments like their wedding.
I really like the background history of both leads parents. It was quite interesting that their moms used to be great friends but then became enemies. I wished that both of their moms could have rekindled their friendship again. It did kind of happen when Qi Ming's mom visited Yi Yao's to relieve her stress from her divorce of her husband. They were drinking and thinking back of their past. Then Yi Yao's mom dies couple of episodes later. I wanted to see how their moms would react to Yi Yao and Qi Ming's relationship now that both of them are good friends. I wished when QM's mom got divorced they had move back to their old home with Sen Xi letting them.
I didn't understand why would Yi Yao and Qi Ming break up when there was like 5 episodes left to predictably get back together again. I thought the major problem they had to overcome as a couple was to get their parents approval but that didn't really work since Yi Yao's mom passed away. The thing I at least liked from the couple was that they were always gonna be together. Qi Ming said things about he values Yi Yao more than anything. He had moments with Sen Xiang but it was just friends. I am so glad he didn't become one with the bitch no matter how hard she tried. Yi Yao wasn't into Sen Xi as a couple as much as with Qi Ming.
There were lots of characters and their issues throughout the drama that made it keep going so it wouldn't get stale with just the main couple. I might say too much since at the end, it didn't feel like a great happy ending for the leads just a alright happy end.
I don't know what is says much to a drama if I liked the second couple more than the main one. But I would watch this drama again but not towards the horrible events at the end. I would skip all the Xiao Mi scenes. Their college life was easily the most fun for the characters like Hao Tian and Dudu. I think you should watch for the Hao Tian and Dudu couple.
I'm gonna give my thoughts on the episodes towards the end first. After reading other respones, I now understand it more clearly than how the drama presented it. First off I hated the idea to have Sen Xiang be sexually assaulted. From other comments, this was a plan by that bitch Xiao Mi intended for Yi Yao but tragically Sen Xiang was the one who mistakenly ended up as the victim. This event was sudden like there is 3 episodes left and this happens. When I was watching I thought it was a random attack from strangers but it was planned by Xiao Mi. The problem was they didn't build up to that they were planning this or after this event happened there wasn't a reaction from Xiao Mi until her arrest. At first I thought it was Yi Yao's fault since she send the message to Sen Xiang but it turned out that she recieved the message then sent that message to Sen Xiang since she was QM's "girlfriend". I was upset how this event didn't affect Yi Yao and Qi Ming much since they were the cause of it. Yeah Yi Yao didn't actually plan this but she still is to blame that she forward the message to Sen Xiang. So when I saw at the last episode those 3 guys and Xiao Mi being arrested I didn't know what for but was glad they were finally arrested. It turned out that all 4 were apart of this plan. I'm sorry but Xiao Mi's dad should have scolded her one last time about this freaking plan she had to make someone get sexually assaulted. The scene was too much of him apologizing how he didn't take care of her well instead of scolding her one more time on this horrible event. I wanted to be more satisfied of Xiao Mi finally deserving her punishment. This felt a bit light given all the things she did throughout the drama.
TL;DR : I did not like the last episodes of this drama.

I agree if it was Hasegawa Kyoko the side teacher with Sakuragi in season 1, it would be a let down. She is not the biggest name and would suit better for a return in a episode that isn't the last. That is quite interesting about what happened in the manga. Yamapi in a beard would be something new and maybe hilarious if it is him and they go this route. See I just remember more of Yamapi and Masami's character than Gakky in season 1 that I want it to be Yamapi. I can understand that he is quite busy now and it would be difficult for an appearance. For me it is Yamapi or bust. I'll be slightly let down if it isn't Yamapi.

I just finished episode 6 and can't help but look at these spoilers. I saw that episode 10 preview and yeah someone is returning but who. I personally hope it is Yamapi because if I remember his character in season 1 was close with Masami. It's likely not gonna be Yamapi and probably be Gakky.
I finished watching episode 34 and I loved Hao Tian and Dudu's wedding. It was cheap because they just wanted the gift money from friends but they ended up revealing their feelings to each other. They have become my favorite couple of the show. They are legit one of my favorite couples ever I seen in a drama. They are a funny but sweet couple. I wonder if they will have a proper wedding someday?
This is my favorite romance drama ever because of the way they nailed the story or rich woman and poor man. I loved Hirto because since his family comes from struggles, he isn't the usual type of male lead that people love with their looks, wealth, kindness...His attitude isn't the best but he has this side of him that cares about his family and friends and he works hard for them. Romance dramas out there, we need more male characters like Hiroto!
Episode 3 was wonderful. I had some flashbacks to the first season when they taught the students about these questions and tips to study. Like how they should help teach each other. I am so impressed so far how the impact of social media has made in the drama so far. Their use of youtube and twitter to study is interesting. I loved how they revealed their answers to some of the questions on the test. Of course, Sakuragi with his famous speeches. Here he shined again and it was inspiring. This episode focus all on the class and studying and I really enjoyed it. Dragon Zakura 2 is shaping up to be my favorite drama of the spring and possibly of 2021.
