I have never watched GJM series before. Let me mentally prepare myself for the worst then 😭

ZYZ is a grey character and he's definitely not as innocent as some people claim. He killed a guard of DHB in episode one without batting an eye. (Before people come to hate me, I love ZYZ with all my heart.)

I'm so so impressed. I have seen him in other dramas but never really 'noticed' him. Here he's owning his character. I'm literally saving his photos now. 🫣

I'm expecting her to make a reappearance. In the ending dance, she's in a black dress that we haven't seen yet.

I had many of these predictions in my list too:
1. LL is going to sacrifice himself for the sake of ZYZ. In his eyes, Wen Zongyu is definitely not worthy of killing ZYZ. That's the most suitable ending for LL X ZYZ.
2. ZYZ is definitely going to sacrifice himself for greater good towards the end. At some point of time, he will definitely be left weak without much power. I will be heartbroken if he outright dies 😭
3. I can definitely see ZYC being left behind all alone. Ying Lei will probably be alive too, guarding Kunlun as a Mountain God.
4. WX might end up with complete Baize Goddess powers eventually and live her life as a human. I agree that she will also pick her successor.
5. PSJ will also probably be alive and be a part of DHB, living her life as a human.

One or more of the crew has to die. My vote is on BJ and possibly PSJ's brother, who finally really dies protecting PSJ. That has been his greatest wish.

The ending that will make me happy is ZYZ getting rid of his malicious energy and be left as a human with WX and others. Both have their human lifetime and grow old together.

Yes, logically it should be more than 8 years ago, but in the beginning of Ep 20, BJ's shifu mentions that he absorbed it 8 years ago. Also, blood moon started affecting ZYZ 8 years ago. Might be a plot hole.

When he was chatting with WX and PSJ, he looked pretty chill about it. I hope he's not downplaying it, and they look up some cure soon.

I have seen the thread they are talking about. Like you said, it's visual similarities, but so many cdramas have visual similarities. It's a reach honestly.

ZYZ also didn't seem very alarmed in today's episode. He was like I'm a great demon. How can I easily lose my core? I hope it's not some overconfidence and he has a plan to get back his senses.

I need help with the timeline as something doesn't add up. Wen Zongyu mentions that ZYZ acquired/absorbed ever-burning wood 8 years ago. That's also when blood moon started affecting him and he killed the then Baize goddess. However, 8 years ago, from the flashback, we know that ZYZ had black hair. In the scene when he absorbed ever-burning wood, his hair was silver and he was clearly younger. What am I missing? All of these events couldn't have happened 8 years ago.

Episode 20 was a ride!
- Why is everyone being so forgiving to BJ? He's a kid but he has seriously hurt ZYZ. Why is no one bothered by this?
- I hope ZYZ can get back his senses. BJ better help him with this. I hope the director and screenwriter do not resort to the standard trope of all powerful demon becoming weak after losing his inner core. I want ZYZ to be sexy and smirking while using his one-word spells for the rest of the episodes.
- More WX X ZYZ interactions please. My babies haven't interacted much!
- Ying Lei is back! I missed his grin.
- If everything goes smoothly, they have both divine wood + yao water - so they can fix baize token soon, and ZYZ can get his malicious energy under control.

Finally, ZYZ being all powerful and smirky---my favorite cdrama demon. He looked amazing when he teleported in front of BJ. Neo is doing amazing with his role. Can't take my eyes off him whenever he's on screen.

That's a very good point! Now that I think about it, when they were looking for Qing Geng in the cave, ZYZ asks WX to hold his hand so that he can borrow Baize token's power. Now we know that he was probably facing an issue with his senses already back then.

What are all the times when BJ could have poisoned ZYZ? We know that ZYZ has lost 4 senses so far. I can think of twice when BJ handed him medicine for plague (and once when they just landed in that village).
