I think saving the Wilderness will be last story arc towards the end of the series where everyone will make huge sacrifices. The current arc will focus on getting YiChen back in health, and that will involve a trip to the Wilderness and the story arc of Bing Yi + Ying Long.

Oh yeah, I'm not blaming WX at all. It's not her fault. I am just pointing out others who are calling her a decoration.

ZYZ can't even have 5 mins of peace after spending days in torment.

It's also partly because people were expecting Ying Long to make an appearance based on the photos but the episode focussed on ZYC and BingYi. So very likely people came in with expectations and they weren't met.

I think today people are angry because she "dropped" the five-colored stone and it broke freeing BingYi's blood, but they literally tell us that LL's influence made the stone brittle. The stone didn't break just earlier in the episode when it was dropped.

Yi Chen will have a shock of his lifetime when he's going to regain his consciousness. Imagine being a demon himself when he's spent his entire life hating and hunting them.

Just yesterday I was saying that ZYC might be of god bloodline, but turns out BingYi is demonic. ZYC will have a shock of his lifetime. He will have to introspect a lot to come in terms with it, given that his entire life, he's been hunting demons.

Especially after today's episode where BingYi's demonic blood was the last part of him left in the world, I feel like WX's blood distilled from Yao water and ZYZ's blood from contract will be the last part of them left in the end. In the future their descendants will be resurrected from it.

After looking at emojis in the schedule, I feel like the ending is going to be an open ended one.

It might be Ao Yin again shape shifted as Wen Xiao given that LL is there as well.

Some caveats: Sealing LL is not a permanent solution. LL has caused a majority of havoc since episode 1 while being sealed with Baize token. Sealing LL with Baize token is a temporary and also an ineffective solution, and even that doesn't guarantee that he won't possess someone else immediately.

A more permanent solution is to make LL realize that he's doing nothing but harming fellow demons by siding with Wen Zongyu. No wonder ZYZ was like you are an idiot - let me explain it to you as if are 10.

I'm also expecting ZYC to be of dragon bloodline but I was leaning more towards him being some sort of god/human hybrid. In other cdramas, gods are usually dragon bloodlines. I'm not sure if LL can possess someone with this bloodline.

Lord Bing Yi's arc is around the corner anyway. I'm pretty excited about that!

TTEOTM really had too much blood spitting. 😅 I'm glad FOF has minimal blood spitting because it always throws me off. In the initial episodes, ZYZ did spit blood multiple times, and I was really hoping that he won't follow TTJ in this regard.

I think demons, except ZYZ, and humans possessed by other demons like LL, in general, can't hold/operate ZYC's sword. So if LL possesses ZYC, it would be useless right? However, if he can still control/influence ZYC's mind without actually possessing him, then that would be the perfect weapon. Perhaps that's what happened with LL holding his hand with black smoke over ZYC.

Him possessing Bai Jiu was so uncalled for. He knows that BJ has everyone wrapped around his little finger, and they will try his best to avoid killing him.

Priority of things. If she spends time trying to seal Ao Yin and LL, ZYC might put needle in ZYZ. LL in Bai Jiu's body is still weak, but if he can control ZYZ, he can create major havoc. In that case, even if she manages to seal Ao Yin and LL, it won't matter anymore because now demonized ZYZ is running free and under control of LL. With free demonised ZYZ, her friends might be as good as dead.

Now that you put it that way, I agree. She was crazy in love with ZYZ even before she left to cultivate.

We are through 2/3 rd of the drama. So good so far. When I thought Ep 17/18 can't be peaked, we get this Ep 22/23.
