In the first episode, that statement about lying was specifically for Deceptive beasts. That rabbit demon was a Deceptive beast. All the statements made by WX later in that episode were also about the Deceptive beasts i.e. they are destined to lie their entire lives without ever speaking the truth except few moments before their death.

Also, ZYZ explicitly says to ZYC and his godfather that he's not a Deceptive beast. So ofcourse ZYZ can speak the truth. We don't know which other demons are Deceptive beasts as it was never explicitly stated. WX also states that Deceptive beasts are not fierce creatures, they just look cute and lie. However, most of the other demons we encountered in the show are fierce demons. It's safe to assume that they are not Deceptive beasts and therefore have the freedom to lie or speak the truth.

I am not sure which rabbit you are talking about in your second point. Are you talking about Bai Jiu? He's part demon, part human and part God. His body is in perfect harmony with LL because both of them are pagoda tree demons. Let's not forget that BJ's mother is an ancient tree demon, so she's very powerful. Due to his demonic origins, his body can also handle LL's core. Therefore, he hasn't withered away in a matter of days. Even ZYZ mentions to Wen Zongyu that possessing BJ's body was LL's long term plan because he was dying in his original body.

For third point, only ZYZ was great at scanning but his senses have been sealed and afaik they haven't been restored unless I missed something?

What felt weird was PSJ and Ying Lei letting Zhen Mei leave.

Bold of you to assume that I didn’t Google. I have watched all the episodes of FOF that have been released so far. None of the episodes are anywhere close to what you are saying. Also, restoring balance of the world is the theme of like 95% of the fantasy cdramas.

I don't know what you are trying to insinuate but this is no where close to what happened in Ep 13 or even other episodes.

In Ep 13:
- We get a bit of Fei (plague demon) and Qing Geng's (a type of bird demon) backstory
- Our demon hunting squad catches plague and they are trying to figure out a cure
- Fei sacrifices himself hoping that it will cure plague and free Qing Geng.
- Bai Jiu revives the dead cypress tree for the cure.

The main story of FOF is no where close to whatever you have said. They are not fighting with Gods here. They are fighting humans and also some demons, but there’s a reason behind it all and it’s totally unrelated to help demons achieve nirvana.

One of the weirdest google searches I have done because of this show is to look up the difference between an ape and a monkey. Turns out apes don't have tails, are smarter than monkeys, have hairless face and are larger than monkeys with wider chests. No wonder ZYZ is handsome in his human form too.

ZYC why did you forget Ying Lei? He’s so loyal. He protected you when you were attacked by everyone else at Tianxiang Pavilion. He also braved those mountains to get that wood for you and reduce your pain 😭There are six of you and not five.

Every shot in FOF is a visual feast. Even today's episode was so beautifully shot. I'm glad FOF is slowly gaining popularity and doing well. Everyone's hard work is paying off. TJR and HMH especially have easily delivered some of the best performances I have seen in cdramas where many MLs tend to be just another pretty robotic face. Their faces are so emotive and acting so convincing. CX has also worked hard in her stunt scenes. Lester Lin though young is acting so well. CDL is also unique in her own way. She does amazing in negative roles but her role as WX shows that she can handle positive roles well too. I can see the entire cast getting more complex roles in the future.
