Very impressed with his acting. He really felt like a different person when he was walking on that long corridor of DHB. ZYC also has a cold demeanor so it's quite difficult to portray another type of cold demeanor effectively, but he pulled it off. I could tell he was a different person.
This was such a heavy episode. That scene in Tianxiang Pavilion broke me. Poor ZYC. All it took was Ao Yin impersonating him for 15 sec to break people's trust in him. Even when they know that there's a demon who can impersonate other people running free in the city. Everyone else in the squad was so supportive of ZYC. It felt like family protecting each other against the world.
ZYC finally being in ZYZ's shoes and understanding first-hand what he goes through every time malicious energy controls him. ZYZ was so protective of ZYC this episode; treating him like a younger brother. When ZYZ said with a bittersweet smile, 'Don't worry. I will save you.' I felt it in my heart.

I really appreciated that they clarified in today's episode why ZYC's elder brother couldn't stop ZYZ with the Cloud Light Sword. When ZYC stopped ZYZ with his sword back in Episode 17, this was one question that I immediately thought. That why others of Bing Yi Clan couldn't stop ZYZ with the sword. It felt like a plot hole back then but glad that the explained it. Ofcourse, we have been getting hints all along that the current Cloud Light Sword can't harm ZYZ, especially because ZYC (and very likely his brother too) hadn't mastered Bing Yi's sword technique back then. But today's episode further clarified it.
I'm referring to the scene when PSJ and Ying Lei see Zhen Mei after ZYZ tell them that they will have to travel to the forbidden area of Bing Yi clan, but they let him walk scot free despite knowing that he works for Chongwu camp and they are up to no good. Was very weird.
Someone explain to me what was going on with Zhen Mei, PSJ and Ying Lei in that scene.
I'm sure Wen Zongyu must have fundamentally changed Zhen Mei in some way with his experiments and he's very likely going to be even more lethal. I was surprised that even ZYZ couldn't detect him? (or, he was aware and letting him hear it). PSJ and Ying Lei also let him go. Very weird.
