i knew it was going to happen, but im still annoyed that it did... girl what kind of mom steals from her own daughters that are struggling financially??? like is that not a crime??? it's so ridiculous....
ok so this drama is actually very predictable and unrealistic? well obv lol.. but like in a sense of everything that happens, it just works out too conveniently for them?? i feel like the story is missing a few details, like they're cutting corners...especially in that scene where iruma called out to yuki when the assassin took her away again....like what!!!!! ur literally revealing to the bad guy that you know each other!!! blowing her cover!!!!! speaking of yuki, they really missed the mark on her character imo... i mean it makes sense for her to be soft and shy since she lost her dad at a fairly young age, but i had this expectation that they were going to do some badass fighting TOGETHER!! instead all shes done so far is cry like a baby🤷🏽♀️ it doesnt help that her acting is soooo bad in this
all that being said, what i enjoy about this drama is the world-building! what they lack in the story, they definitely make up for with the visuals...the angles and transitions emphasize the action, and i love how they've set up a chinese kitchen to be the home base of the evil superiors
what kind of character does he play in that movie? ive only ever seen him play like..."the cool guy" which is why i think i like him in this drama... it's different from all those other roles
oooh ep 4 looks like it's getting a little more serious...or maybe the vibes are just for halloween? haha
i loved the scene where soma was testing kanoko's ability...it was really sweet, but also from a viewer's standpoint, it felt like a smart way to show what she is capable of, which i feel might be relevant later on👀
sooo stupid but like...to the point that it's kinda funny? a light watch for sure... the real star for me, instead of nanao, is shiono akihisa (-: someone with a face like that acting incompetent is kinda unbelievable and kinda endearing lol
i kept getting lazy to start this and even then, only put it on in the background...only for me to totally get distracted😂 not like any drama ive seen lately!
such a minor note, but i thought it was ridiculous that maria's number was still on ayumu's hand at the end of his shift....like ew you're a nurse, you should be washing your hands multiple times a day💀
anyways was not expecting a s2 of this drama, but it does not disappoint!! great first ep and looking forward to the rest!
maybe im too old, but im a little tired of this kind of fl who's too reserved to defend herself....like i thought it was dumb that the scene where the ml falls for her is a scene where she doesnt admit her laptop is broken??? thats so bizarre to me lmao!! like i feel for her, but man dont let yourself taken advantage of like that.... that being said, i like kubota sayu and am interested in seeing where this drama goes considering they've basically agreed to divorce yet the husband is in the drama poster?
i really cried every week😢😢 fuka is such a phenomenal actor but also each ep featured stories and characters that were just really moving... what a shame this has ended😢
i do like how they implied that she can no longer see spirits now, and that it was possibly a skill she had due to her near death experience
the story is interesting, and this drama features such a great cast, but for some reason, the pacing and acting is so amateur?? almost comical... it's so strange
is it just me or was it absolutely BONKERS how everyone was like "we still havent found hasumi kanon" at such a crucial time and yet no one thought to put watch on the haikawa house??? it's such a small detail, but for a show that did so well at spinning the story with many small details like that, i couldnt stop thinking about it lol
anyways you dont need me to talk about how good this show was overall... but i will always love yoshikawa ai in this kind of drama! forever my thriller/psychological queen 😍
finally the truth comes out! well sort of... i always wondered how natsu saved the company director's life, but somehow never had anything to say about mitsuko's sister... although i can imagine it's just about how natsu didnt have time to save the sister after saving the director like there is still someone who started the fire
had to tune in for kenty and sei together.... was not expecting the first case to last until ep 2 so gotta wait to see how it gets resolved 👀
i love kenty but admittedly hes not the greatest actor.... i think this sort of role suits him perfectly though!! he has very exaggerated "live action" reactions sometimes, but it fits this unusual lawyer type hes playing
ooh such a good first ep!! took a break from dramas for awhile, and im glad this was my first pick of the season!
tuned in just bc i love koshiba fuka and oshima yukio, and i have to say their dynamic does not disappoint!! the entire cast is great too... actually the dynamic of the entire dept is fun (-: (i find the naofumi character maybe a little over the top, but i suspect it might be needed for balance if the series gets more serious later on...) also fuka has always been an excellent actress, but she shows improvement every time i watch her... definitely always a pleasure to see her on screen!
it could be just the story of this first ep, but it feels a little bit like cold case? in terms of mystery solving and the intent of tying up loose ends for those involved... but while cold case is a bit dark and edgy, this feels more like the rainbow after a storm? (maybe im being influenced by the poster lol) definitely lighter due to the cinematography and content!
got to ep 3, thought "ok so now that we've got some background on the main 3... are we ever going to find out why ritsu married ran in the first place", got to ep 4 and it's still unanswered.... like i can kind of understand everything like why jun has a complex against her sister, why ritsu cant speak up and stand up for himself, and why ran is so insufferable, but just bc the girl you like breaks up with you doesnt mean you go and marry her sister who she thought you were cheating with in the first place 💀
all that being said, what i enjoy about this drama is the world-building! what they lack in the story, they definitely make up for with the visuals...the angles and transitions emphasize the action, and i love how they've set up a chinese kitchen to be the home base of the evil superiors
