not a bad story at all... i love it actually, but the mc just makes the other people around her look sooo petty, which is disappointing bc they're all adult women
i'm usually not into stories like these bc they're tearjerkers with predictable endings, but i decided to watch bc i think nana and kentaro look so good together. however, while the movie was great, i definitely felt matsuri's life story was stronger than her love story with kazu. i mean towards the end, it's her love for him that kind of changes her outlook on life, so without the love, you wouldn't get that compelling life story... but i personally left the movie theatre feeling more attached to matsuri as a character than matsuri and kazu as a couple, if that makes sense? still a great movie that makes you want to pay more attention in your own life. definitely get some tissues ready before watching!
plot hole she said she's living to kill to fake yuki. but she doesn't make sure he's really dead..
yea thats one reason ep 1 felt sort of uninteresting to me.... i like the mood and the thrill of the concept, but it just feels a little meh when she had a perfectly good chance to kill him yet didnt actually put effort into it (or at least thats what it feels like to me) so now they're going to spend the rest of the season finding ways to kill him... it just feels sort of "this could have all been avoided very easily" lmao
i wasnt going to watch this until i heard yoshikawa ai was in it - i really love her in mystery/thriller type dramas, but ep 1 wasnt really that interesting to me...
i dont even know what to say.... but god what a horrible ending... there were so many ways they could have wrapped up this drama, but they probably had to choose the messiest ending /-: it's so upsetting to think about how i was really into this drama at first bc it really stood out as a mystery, but the way everything unraveled was just....idk strange? i mean it's not like i'm expecting realism from these types of stories, but i just cant make sense of anything lol
anyways if you loved tottsu in this, please consider checking out more of ebi!!they sang this drama's op: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLt0AeYr9CYwhich…
yea unfortunately, there is only one johnny's group on spotify, and i don't really see the company putting other groups on spotify anytime soon... actually the full song youtube uploads is a pretty new thing too. i really wish their music was more accessible! but thank you for taking interest!!
i mean obviously they are not just two random people who like mystery especially since the younger one literally…
yea i get that, but thats exactly why i would think they would fake a reaction, to not be so suspicious.... it's weirder for them to just go with the flow lol
i get that everyone's supposed to be suspicious, but i find it kind of funny that there was like....no reaction from dera and pan after finding out about the fictitious suicide or the real murder.... i mean they got the invite from a site for smth that was supposed to be like a little murder mystery dinner only to find out a real murder happened in the place they're staying at... wouldnt you normally be spooked out lol
as soon as mio fainted, i had a feeling they were going to say shes pregnant at the end of the ep, but i really was not expecting it.... it's such a weird thing to add like idk it just doesnt feel necessary??
and i did have a feeling that nakano became amemiya through plastic surgery, rather than a parent trap type body switch thing, but i was hoping it wasn't going to be plastic surgery, just bc it's been done already with siren....
one thing though - i cant help but be so π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί over that face nakano made when saying bye to mio in middle school.... like at that point, he was already planning to commit suicide while killing his parents, and that was going to be his last goodbye with the one person who made him feel warm... it's just such a heart-tugging moment bc it makes you think that if you knew about his plan, maybe you could have helped save him
some people don't. I know someone who are very capable, even given national scholarship to study abroad in top…
oh yea i definitely get what you mean! i kind of was thinking of japan specifically... since they've got the stereotype of most men not knowing how to basic chores, which i find strange bc i'm pretty sure home ec is national curriculum lol but ig i shouldnt look at things too "realistically" since this is just a drama after all π
wow i could say so much about this episode (like omg i forgot this drama is also about business, not just romance lol) but one thing i will say is.... how do you make it into adult life w/o knowing how to wash dishes properly??? it's a basic skill you at least do in home ec, if not in your own home....
THE WAY I GASPED AT THE END..... EVEN THOUGH I KNEW IT WAS COMING
god maybe i am team taiga? they seem to be really pushing it and it's very persuasive lol like after last week's episode, i thought they were finally going to give us some asami time... i mean they did but not in That way ππ but yea with how they're making taiga to be the one who keeps catching her at her most fragile moments, it would be so unfair to make it an asami ending... also it's just so difficult bc i feel like takahata mitsuki just easily has chemistry with everyone or at least makes it so it feels that way. it's just the little details in her acting... the tiniest reaction really sets the whole mood π₯Ί
nothing about this drama has been especially extraordinary or different from a typical romance drama, so i shouldnt be surprised to see them do an ep on the pushy mother character, but i really wish they wouldnt... i get that it's really common and relatable, but it's just sooo unnecessary and overplayed π
also ep 5 made me realize why people like tsunderes so much hahaha every time taiga says smth mean to or about hinako, im like "ugh i cant stand him", but then whenever he has a cute moment in relation to her (like him looking a bit flustered when yuzu said he likes hinako), i'm like "π₯Ί that's kinda cute"
ugh wow deciding between the two male leads is hard... i thought i would be rooting for asami for sure, and while the sudden kyun ending scenes from this week and last week's ep were nice... hinako spends more time with taiga, so it's easier to see smth developing between them.. hoping there's some more asami scenes to make it more fair lol
ooh i dont know what to make of this drama... definitely feels like it will be really great as a thriller and a mystery, but as a general life story, wow so frustrating.... imai's lack of courage to speak up is a part of her character and seemingly an important part of the story, but i definitely had to skip the parts where she just stood there and let people yell at her. i mean it's not her fault, those unhappy people will always try to find someone weaker to compare themselves to so they can feel a moment of satisfaction, but man i wanted to scream!!! hope there is some growth on top of a good mystery lol
tbh really not the biggest fan of shison jun plus his character is one of the types i hate in these business type dramas, so it's easy to choose who to root for... but i'm definitely curious about how romance will develop in this drama. nothing in the first episode hinted at it imo..
wow first episode was great! love how it can still be taken seriously as a mystery but has a lot of dry comedy. i almost wasn't going to watch this at first but went ahead and put it on my list bc there aren't very many interesting dramas this season... glad i decided to give it a watch
not a bad drama, but it just felt really... bland? sometimes so i often found myself getting distracted with other things while watching, which is probably why i feel the pacing of the development is a bit off. the point of the drama is nice though... a man, who pretends to be cold and greedy, actually does all that he can to help kids achieve their goals
