jeez the entire why isn't khemmika born as a woman again and why pharan automatically likes khemjira even if he's a man when he was a woman in past life discourse is pissing me off it's obvious WHY can't people just pay a little more attention or just not watch at all if they don't get simple things??
So people are asking why Khemmika wasn't reborn as a woman again. Because they wanted it to be a woman again.…
I've no idea what they even mean by that when it's been explained in ep1 itself that only the males of khemjira's bloodline had been cursed to dye before they hit 21, if khemmika were to be born as a woman again there won't be any plot won't be any drama as well wth is even going on
seeing how worked up keng gets everytime namping firstone ever so slightly hold hands I can't wait for pharan's jealousy era harit will nail it with that gorjus face of his lmaoo
they're household deities who appears as a child, they're worshipped for protection wealth personal gain etc besically…
yes they are hehe that's why i explained it with infos from the origin since the novel character is taken from there, there's this one account on twitter they're making threads on the cultural origins superrr interesting
as a novel reader (yes i love spoilers and I'm impatient af) everytime i see someone making theories that has absolutely nothing to do with the plot i stare at my screen and go hehe i know something you don't know hehehe it's pretty silly but i feel like sherlock holmes having figured out the murder mystery lmaooo (I'm kidding btw theories are always so fun and keeps the excitement going)
I just wanted to thank you. I read the Novel but it’s been a while and sometimes while I’m watching the series…
you're welcome really honestly i read the novel pretty recently but the drama adaptation is as usual out of order even i got confused and had to reread some parts lol
tho i kinda get why they added a sub plot since you already said the novel isn't too long and nothing significant really happens in the middle of the novel which can make an interesting plot for an episode so they need fillers but i wish they did something else other than poorly written sensitive topic but regardless I'm excited too to see how they wrap it
they're household deities who appears as a child, they're worshipped for protection wealth personal gain etc besically…
they were indeed mentioned as the ghost servents of pharan's grandpa but i just explained the origin of those two twins, there's a thai viewer on twitter who made a thread about the cultural aspects from the drama as they belong to northeast thailand they explained exactly who thong ek are and where they're originated from haha
Also I wanna know is it possible that Ramphueng had some issues with Khemmika that's why Ramphueng cursed her…
400 years ago ramphueng did have some issues with khemjira and family she cursed the entire bloodline of, also yes many male heirs were born in that bloodline and they all dyed
Does anyone know who those two little children helping the Sharman are?Are they just spirits or actual humans? What…
they're household deities who appears as a child, they're worshipped for protection wealth personal gain etc besically the owner must treat them as their own children and in return they protect their household let them know about any approaching potential harm stuffs like that
that's because both hinduism and buddhism share numerous terms and concepts such as dharma, karma, samadhi etc…
the novel had most of the incantations mentioned but even then some of them were half said, as far as I've seen the cast members said they did use real incantations I'd love to know to what connects to which rituals
those of you still confused the curse goes way back than khemika and phawat's timeline (1939) as lovers, the curse happened 400 years ago (ramphueng's timeline) from the current timeline (khemjira's timeline) while khemika and phawat's unfortunate ending was a direct cause of the curse because khemika was another reincarnation of the og khemjira (og khemjira was a girl in ramphueng's timeline) whose bloodline was originally cursed in ramphueng's timeline by her, the reason khemjira was able to rebirth in present timeline is because he was a woman in his last life which is khemika because if he was a boy his soul would have been taken away permenently by ramphueng as you may already know that she originally cursed the male heirs of the bloodline to die before the age of 21 hence if ramphueng successfully takes away khemjira's soul this time he'll be condemned to eternal suffering and never be born again, so there's a reason why khemjira was a woman in his past lives and why he's a man in his present life it all connects to the plot
Okay I am just back from watching the ep. 2 and , I guess it is because many parts of Thai culture is inspired…
that's because both hinduism and buddhism share numerous terms and concepts such as dharma, karma, samadhi etc and has a history of similarities from its origins both the religions use a lot of sanskrit too that's why you find the incantations similar to sanskrit and hence why you'd see a lot of hindu deities are also worshipped in Buddhism
hello I'm back with comparison spoilers between novel and drama ep2,- like i said before the entire peem and khem…
sorry guys this week's novel to drama comparison commentary got a little too long but i hope y'all will enjoy reading regardless, please be mindful of potential spoilers hope all of you enjoyed ep2 as much as i did 🫂
hello I'm back with comparison spoilers between novel and drama ep2,
- like i said before the entire peem and khem meeting as kids arc is added new, in the novel only peem's grandfather meets little khem at a different village takes pity on him and tries helping him with the rare amulet, he was also somewhat of a dark magic practitioner which led him to suffer the consequences till his last breath hence why he tells pharan to always practice white magic and never mess with karmic debts (the knife that the grandpa uses in the drama to draw blood from his hand is a powerful dark magical object, they did add lots of tiny details in the drama from the novel which will make sense as the story progresses so pay attention to everything they specifically focus the frames on),
- the very first scene of the ritual that pharan performs is a ritual to assemble all the deities from all the realms which they did not explain in the drama, it is to protect the village and villagers from any approaching harm (it is believed that the louder the chant is the higher the spiritual power of the chanter reaches upto the highest points of heaven), they had to hurriedly perform it that night because well my dear khemjira arrived with an army full of malevolent spirits led by ramphueng charging straight to the village coming to take his life, the rain that you see burning the spirits away is sent by Indra (god of rain and thunder in Hinduism) and the spirits were swallowed by mother earth, it also kind of weakened ramphueng too for the time being, the entire scene was as intense in the novel as it is in the drama,
- the whole domestic violence sub plot was added new there's nothing like that in the novel (personally i didn't like how it was handled carelessly but atleast pharan gave a realistic speech in the end),
- the entire scene of khem getting attacked in the forest while pharan opens jet's third eye for a bit so he could see the spirits and help khem was added new, he even sees glimpse of thong and ek which never happened, in the novel he could see thong ek as a kid he even used to play with them but his third eye was half closed by pharan himself so he couldn't see them anymore just see some shadowy figures,
- pharan taking khem back home on the cycle scene was new, jet showing concern for charn while he was passed out is new too,
- in the drama they're slowly unwrapping khemjira and pharan's past life as khemika and phawat while in the novel they narrate the entire story right in the beginning after pharan chases away chayot's spirit when khem first arrived at his house, chayot was phawat's brother and khemika's close friend from school in past life but there's a lot more to the story i won't spoil much y'all will find out soon,
also i noticed that pharan and khem has somewhat of a decent interaction with eo khem is also way less timid in the drama, in the novel they barely spoke or interacted until way later in the story i guess they modified it in the drama for the romance arc to start sooner, anyways that's it for now see y'all next episode <3
