I love this drama so much but it does bother me a bit that with all his spies and birds who report to him, TTJ doesn't seem to know that someone is amassing tens of thousands of puppet soldiers. Is there some explanation for that?

Did I miss something? Why did TTJ say in episode 20 that YXW mustn't find out his handwriting has changed? Why did his handwriting change? Is it because of an injury and he thought she might worry if she found out?

I like anti heroes but I think I really like the TTJ in the drama more because the novel version sounds too dark. I don't think overly dark characters translate too well on screen. It can seem regressive and extremely unhealthy, especially if there's romance involved. So personally, I like this change and this version of TTJ.

Youku English YouTube channel doesn't give access to the advance VIP episodes. That is only available for VIP members of Youku mobile app. You have to download the Youku international app on your phone or tablet and then get the VIP membership. It sucks but that's the only way to watch all the VIP episodes. One can of course go through the illegal websites but I do prefer to watch on official channels to support the shows. It's such a pity that Youku doesn't even have a browser friendly website to watch their dramas on like wetv and iqiyi.

Today's episode was just so beautifully heartbreaking. I started off with not liking the dream arc much because it felt like yet another Xianxia romance with the God of War, a naive FL and a super evil SFL. However, it developed beautifully and the characters stayed true to themselves.
But I have a question. I thought it was in a way tragically beautiful that MY turned into a dragon and kind of tortured himself with reliving the painful memories again and again all the while cradling a clam shell. But then it seemed to turn out in the end that it was all an illusion that MY had set-up so that TTJ and YXW learn some valuable lessons and to possibly stop TTJ from turning into the Devil God. So was MY long since dead and the sleeping dragon just an illusion?
Also who gave the jade to YXW? Someone said it was SJ from the past. Is that correct?

I agree. I do try and watch the shows on their official platforms to support the production team and actors. If they are absolutely unavailable on any of the major platforms, then I might check the pirated sites. It seems especially sad for a show like TTEOM because they seem to have really put in a lot of hardwork and tons of money to try and make a good show. I think a good way to support them is to watch it on the official channels.

I agree. So far I really like the show but some plot devices are so convenient. Maybe it's in the book or maybe it's to move the story along but it did make me laugh. Like when she falls down the cliff right into the dragon or even when Ye Xiwu so conveniently stumbles upon the injured Tantai Jin by the river. There seems to be quite a few coincidences so far. However, it is all so much fun to watch and I am not complaining.

I did notice @Nantou345 keeps posting negative comments on this page and keeps saying the drama is receiving a lot of hate. It seems a little sus coming from a completely blank and seemingly new account which keeps posting so many comments suddenly on just one drama's page.
