@SweetPotatoPie I agree. We have the gift of overview and seeing how all the pieces fall in place. And here LSS wouldn't be gambling with just her own love or life, she would be gambling with the lives of everyone in the three realms and four continents. That's a heavy burden. Plus, she even knows what happened to her own mother for trusting her biological father.
Amidst all the heartache and angst in the story hurtling towards its conclusion, why do I care so much that I never got to see Shifu's donkey? It was referenced in episode 39 by DG as he didn't get to ride the donkey and since then the thought keeps popping in my head that "Damn, I'd have liked to see Shifu riding a donkey." I still remember Wei Wuxian's Apple most fondly.

Yeah, I saw that and also am looking forward to BFTB but this thing about two episodes tomorrow was just something I read today in a couple of places. But probably it's just rumors and they will keep to the same schedule. Just wondered if anyone knew anything more about it.
@ShortCircuit I watched Broker and LYX was so good in it but the drama was a train-wreck towards the end. (that's just IMHO) However, I'd watch it just to see LYX play yet another tortured soul with great depth. The best thing about LCR too was LYX and he was good in it too although the drama itself seemed a bit mediocre. I enjoyed Lie to Love if you haven't seen it already even though I just had to soldier through Cheng Xiao's rather wooden acting. And I am just going to assume you've already seen Love is Sweet.😊

As I wait for Sunday and the next two episodes both with heightened anticipation and dread, I can't help but keep wondering why Youku didn't do an express pass for TTEOM. Lately there has been such a trend for express passes for the last few episodes of a drama. Even a moderately popular drama such as Romance of Twin Flower had an express pass. I was fully expecting an express pass for the last four episodes of TTEOm given its popularity but it never happened. I am just curious as to why. Does anyone know? I had heard the regulators were trying to get rid of express passes but clearly its still happening. Nothing But You also had an express pass for its last episodes recently.

OMG I loved the dark robe too and it is perhaps my favorite costume so far for TTJ (along with the one he wore in the Nether River). It seems even the costume designer was enamored of LYX and gave him such beautiful costumes.

Absolutely! I just love TTEOM and will be really sad when it is over but knowing Back from the Brink is releasing right after really lifted my spirits. Also seeing that the new trailer was a bit more lighthearted made me happy. With TTEOM, I am constantly on tenterhooks and even when there are sweet moments, I worry about what is coming. So yay for Back from the Brink!😊❤️I am sure it will have its share of angst but probably not the heart-wrenching quality of TTEOM.🤞I need a break from all the heartbreaks!
