My friend got an iq.com vip subscription just for this drama and now wants to cancel and ask for a refund. Is that even possible? Too late for me because I have one of those longstanding annual subscriptions. Lately I haven't watched anything new on iq.com though. I keep thinking I will watch The Ingenious One but haven't gotten around to it. Not in the mood for it somehow.

I completely agree. I like the drama and really want to love it because I like its premise very much. I am not so sure about the last few episodes, especially today's episode (17). Yanhui is the kindest and sweetest of FLs and it is clear she'd do anything to help TY. If he had spent a few minutes telling her what had happened and why he needed the scale, she'd have probably dug it out herself to give it to him and then just waited for him to come back. This was a bit disappointing after all the good communication they seemed to have in the earlier episodes which was one of the best things about the show and set it apart from the usual Xianxia trope of the ML making decisions very arbitrarily which almost always results in unnecessary and prolonged misunderstandings with often terrible results. I hope they explain it better in the coming episodes and don't fall into this trope for too long. I still hope for the best for TY and YH and that they will be a strong team again. 🤞

I've often wondered what it must be like for a really good actor like LYX when he has to act opposite someone who is not just as good at acting. Especially during emotional scenes, I wonder what goes inside their heads. Acting is also a lot about chemistry and reacting to each other and helping each other into fully
immersing into their roles. So I wonder if it is difficult or mildly annoying.

It looks awesome! Same here. I too finally caved in. I've had the same WWX picture from The Untamed ever since I joined MDL but had to change for TTJ after TTEOM. I'm going to leave it so for at-least a while. I love the sketches and paintings people do of the characters and I really liked this one. Technically it is of Ming Ye but I think of all three as one in this artwork.😍

I totally also see TTJ in Yuan Shuai especially with TTJ as the Jin emperor. And I see some of LSS's playfulness and intelligence in Jiang Jun. I have just more or less convinced myself they are the same two souls in both the dramas. 😁

I have also been little video clips of LYX filming Follow Your Heart. It looks good. I didn't know it was under IQIYI. Yay! I am more hopeful now. Actually I revisited quite a few LYX dramas after TTEOM and then felt that except maybe LIS, in most of his dramas it seems he loves the FL more than they seem to love him back. At least it seemed like that in Broker, Light Chaser Rescue, And the Winner is Love and Lie to Love. Maybe in ATWIL and Lie to Love not so much and it was just both the female leads' acting in some ways. At least that's how I felt. So I really hope he has a good FL and romance with equal fervor in Follow Your Heart. And sign me up for any and every LYX & BL drama in the future!

I'm on my road to recovery and the steps seem to involve re-watching some of LYX and BL's happier dramas and scenes from happier dramas. But I think TTEOM will forever leave some trauma in the shape of being scared to take on watching new Xianxia dramas with tragic themes or becoming so invested in the fate of characters in a drama. But I guess we are all sucker for punishment and will be back supporting each other if and when another such drama comes out. Yay for support groups! 😍Hope you are coping well too. 😊

Same here. Just keep going back to watching scenes from TTEOM and then watching LIS to recover from all the heartache. So much so that I've pretty much convinced myself that it's just TTJ and LSS in a parallel universe in another time. I won't say it's their reincarnated versions because I still hold to the belief that he cultivated in that dragon scale for another 500 years and then they were all reunited and lived happy ever after- just like the book said they did. I think seeing that on screen would have made ecstatic though!

I just loved TTEOM but this is a welcome change of pace. I also think comparisons are unnecessary and unfair. I am just going to enjoy this and consider it as my therapy sessions after the heartache of TTEOM. I bet this drama will have its own angst since it is Xianxia but I am enjoying the light-hearted touch of it right now. And, the blood spitting is so far minimum so that's a plus.😄

@ChunTian, @ErikaRamirez and @SandraNoLie. Good to see you guys here. It was fun to read all your comments on the TTEOM page. I am going to miss TTJ and LSS but need to recover from the emotional trauma of their story. So here I am hoping that Tian Yao and Yan Hui's journey is as compelling but a much happier one.

I remember the good old days of waiting for the wedding scene in dramas. Now we can all just brace ourselves for the "killer weddings." 😂

I started watching BFTB today to sort of divert myself after the trauma of watching the last episode of TTEOM. And then five minutes into the show I thought, "Weddings are not going well in dramaland." 😂

This one did it for me! It was devastating but so heartbreakingly true. 😭😭😭

I heard it will just be their voices reading the lines of the reunion. Which just sucks so bad if it is true. I'd like to see some actual happy scenes rather than some disembodied voices (even if it is the beautiful voice of LYX). This would be so unfair. Atleast have some actual happy epilogue like Immortal Samsara. I'm going to be soooo mad if it's just the voices.

Totally agree! I might myself "devilize" if TTJ gets a sad ending after a lifetime of pain and suffering. There HAS to be a payout. There has to be justice. Or I will devilize 👿👿👿 Keeping all my fingers crossed for a HE tomorrow 🤞
