Yeah. I am not so sure about this one. I just love LYX and have watched and will continue to watch anything with him in it but I am not that fond of medical dramas or stories with terminally ill characters. There's such a fatalistic bent to all such stories where we as viewers are all hurtling towards the inevitable conclusion. And this is no TTEOM where they can change someone's destiny through the power of love. Huntington's disease is without a cure and ultimately fatal still so I guess this will be a real tearjerker. TTEOM was tragic but also hopeful and beautiful because the ending was linked with redemption.

I love that scene and have watched it multiple times already. Another scene which is brief but I love is in episode 32 right after the bone refining seal finally comes out of TTJ's body. He then falls down and LSS holds him and heals him and he gently falls unconscious in her arms. It was such a charged but beautiful moment because I was so tense throughout that episode with LSS denying that she knew him and then the fight for the bone refining scene. And then there was this tender moment between them (wonderfully acted of-course) and a release of all that tension.

I keep re-watching random scenes and episodes even when we are not watching the show together. I've never had so much trouble moving on after a drama is done with since The Untamed. I too came for my daily check. Also started re-watching it with my hubby who is finally back and was wondering what I was so obsessed with these days. He likes the drama so far but has decided he doesn't like YXW/LSS too much because he feels she is unfair to TTJ and she does not take into account the fact that he has been bullied all his life and has done nothing truly evil yet. We seem to disagree on this but we are having a lot of fun watching it together. I hope he changes his opinion about LSS after watching more of the drama. So far we are only on episode 6.

True that. I really hope the BXS running interference plotline is resolved soon because it is most annoying. I am just waiting for our two leads to be a loving, strong and trusting team again. I liked the drama because of the two leads and how they were a bit different from the usual Xianxia leads. This SML just refusing to let go is so old and draggy. I do love the leads though.

I am so glad you said that. I really liked LSS' character. She is one of the best FLs for me because she was strong, intelligent and loved TTJ/CJM but was also true to her mission and never forgot the bigger picture. I actually really don't like it when someone forgets an important cause or greater good when they fall in love and sacrifice or endanger others for one's own personal feelings. The fact that she was ready to die with CJM in the end is proof enough of her love for him.
And also I have made my peace with the ending. I consider it an open but happy ending. Seeing him happy and at peace in the heart guarding scale and LSS holding on to that scale convinces me that they will be reunited in the future. Would I have loved to see the novel's epilogue played out on screen? Of-course! I'd be ecstatic. In a perfect world, there would be a movie sequel based just on the epilogue with LYX and BL and the rest of the cast to wrap the story up completely. I know it's a pipe dream but that would be just perfection itself. Japanese dramas sometimes make movies after a series like Hana Yori Dango. I wish the Chinese dramas also would do that with some of their really good dramas with rather unsatisfactory endings.

Yep. Still here. 🖐️ Not able to move on. I keep watching various scenes and even some of the saddest ones and think how can I watch these sad scenes again. But I do because it is all soooo good. 😂

After all the antis and the hate campaign it received, it must be good to receive priase from an entity that is so stingy with its praise, especially towards dramas from the Xianxia genre. Haha...my husband was fully amused by my Wei Wuxian obsession. He is equally amused by my TTJ obsession now. 😂 He has watched two of my favorite C-dramas with me: The Untamed and Love Like the Galaxy. He enjoyed both very much and now we will watch TTEOM together. He is more of a gamer but will watch some Asian shows and movies with me. And re-watching TTEOM now seems like a good idea because of whatever shake-up is happening right now with the CCP and C-ent. Hoo boy! Now that's not fun. I was really looking forward to some dramas that were rumored to be airing soon.☹️

I was just thinking the same thing. Despite the only 40 episodes which led to having to cut out many scenes in the drama and the somewhat rushed ending, I am so glad it aired and we got to see the epic story of TTJ and LSS. The fact we are still here on this page after almost two weeks of its airing is a testament of TTEOM's effect on many of us. I would have been absolutely crushed if they had to delay it or be affected by some weird regulation while it aired. Sad about SKOP though.

Yeah! Mini cult is right and I am a happy cult member. My YouTube feed is just full of LYX stuff now! My husband thinks I am hilarious. I keep him updated and he is very patient with me. He was on a trip but has promised me that he will watch TTEOM with me once he is back. So I get to relive it all again with him. 😂

Me too. There was even a meme with him saying he's the actual villain of TTEOM. He first accidentally prevented YXW from telling TTJ the truth by appearing at the wrong moment. Then he exposed CJM was the devil fetus by telling the two demons where TTJ was going and that started a whole snowball effect. And finally he drugged and kidnapped CJM at the worst possible moment. If he'd just trusted CJM enough to tell him the truth, I'm sure CJM would have tried any means to help him. So yeah, while I liked NB, especially in the beginning, I didn't like him as much towards the end. He just didn't come across as the brightest bulb.

Yes me too. I just come and check out this page everyday even though I watched the finale the day it aired. I've never done that for any other drama. I even finished watching LIS after that (minus the second couple's story and the SML story).

Why do I feel like I need to go and buy that Shiseido skincare line? I have very specific skincare but now feel like buying it! Must be the LYX effect.😂
