@Alicetcfwl Agreed! I love visiting this page and reading the comments but lately there's been quite the increase in negativity. So I will just take the deep breaths and do as you suggest. I guess the drama is getting really popular for the trolls to start coming out. I don't mean that no one can point out the obvious flaws or have a personal opinion but the clearly malicious comments are quite obvious. I'd never think of repeatedly go on the page of a show I personally didn't like just to keep telling people how bad the show is especially if people there are really into the show.

I agree. I don't understand the hate and think the characters are very well- written and they make sense, flaws and all. I love TTJ and LSS equally.😍 Neither is perfect but are really trying their best with what fate dealt them. I am rooting for both of them.

I think I am losing my mind and totally missed something despite watching all the episodes at least twice. A very basic question: how did the devil bone end up in TTJ after it was sealed after a whole lot of effort by Ming Ye, Ji Ze and Chu Huang?
Also, is it a plot-hole that Si Ying did not recognize CJM in Shangqing realm when they fought for the bone refining seal?

Yes. Romance of a Twin Flower started well but got so boring after about halfway through. Such a pity! I too dropped it once TTEOM came out. I am enjoying Fated to Love You more than RoTF.

Yes, that's exactly what I think. TTJ's path of learning to love, forgive and sacrifice must have some sort of a positive end or it will be really like no matter what he does, his having the devil fetus and devil bone will be insurmountable and make him undeserving of happiness in the end. It's a bad lesson about the truly great power of love, empathy and forgiveness.

I don't mind tragic when done well but I think they should get a HE. My friend who is also watching TTEOM commented that there should be a payout at the end for all the pain or it will seem like just one downward spiral of a story and that's actually not good. I kinda agree with her and feel that a story so full of tragedy and suffering for the characters should come with some kind of a "reward" at the end both for the characters and the viewers. Now if the story is like GBMP, there was no other correct ending other than a tragic one but I truly believe that TTJ and Susu deserve a HE after all their suffering, sacrifices and character growth. Otherwise it sort of negates their entire journey, understanding and growth. But that's just IMHO.

Okay now I am confused. I had thought that TTJ as the Jing emperor in his dark palate clothes and imposing demeanor was just so wonderful to look at and very handsome and that I would totally miss seeing him that way. But then I saw him in today's episode in the robes of the immortal sect and looking all elegant and graceful and was completely enamored as well. Did anyone else feel the same way? He looked so good in the scene where he was practicing the sword technique. 😍

@Alicetcfwl Wow! Thanks for the explanation. 😍That's crazy. I didn't know there were two variations: Devil God and Devil King. How interesting. That answers a lot of questions. I wonder if they will play it out the same way in the drama. So I guess TTJ becomes the Devil King and still has the potential to become the Devil God.

Thanks for your reply. Oh yes, I remember reading about some pact between the Yiyue tribe and the Devil God. It was something to do with the Yiyue tribe getting the power to communicate with animals in return for a child who could be a vessel for the Devil God. So that's the Devil Fetus? I thought that just meant he'd have the Devil Bone.

Okay, I kind of understand the Devil Bone but what does the Devil Fetus mean? Someone said that the reason TTJ can still hear the Devil God and will again become the Devil God even after the removal of the Devil Bone is because he is the Devil Fetus. I mean, wt*? Poor guy can't catch a break at all!

While I am still shook by the recent episodes, particularly episodes 26, 27 and 28, I just wanted to make a lighthearted comment mainly to somewhat lift my own spirits. I thought it was hilarious that Luo Yun Xi's Yuan Shuai and TTJ both had to suffer through Bai Lu's Jiang Jun and YXW's terrible cooking. YXW making food for TTJ in episode 19 really reminded me of JJ cooking for YS in episode 17 of Love is Sweet. They were both really funny and sweet scenes. I miss all that sweetness!❤️And yes, I had to watch some Love is Sweet to mitigate all the sadness from the recent episodes.

Yes. Episode 27 is also heartbreaking. It was very good. Usually I don't like watching sad, torturous dramas too much but I am loving TTEOM. Maybe because much of the miscommunication and tragedy seems understable. Perhaps not too much for the Ming Ye and Sang Jui arc but TTJ and YXW's story seems to have headed this way from the start.

The only thing left to ponder after today's episode is whether I should watch some mind-numbing mini drama to distract myself from all the heartache or just go full on and re-watch episodes 25, 26 and 27 and drown myself in all the angst and pain.

Yes very much true. This is one of the few times that the miscommunication seems to make more sense. Given their back stories, the very difficult challenges they face and how new their relationship is, miscommunication seems to be understandable.
