So true! Many actors don't seem to understand that the cold look doesn't mean devoid of all emotions with just a wooden look. A really well done cold look is when it seems that there are all these tightly bottled up emotions that are just seething underneath a calm exterior ready to be unleashed at any time. Then that person seems like they have depth and dimension instead of just emotionally empty. And LYX is a master at portraying the calm exterior with so many things just seething underneath.

Was going to say the same. Man! Some people really like to talk down. I guess the internet does that. Otherwise, I can't think of going into a room full of people enjoying talking about their favorite drama and yelling, "You guys need to shut up and take your discussions elsewhere so I can hear what I
approve of." Just because this is a virtual discussion room people seem to think it's okay to be rude and show their middle finger. I'd like to see someone do that face to face with a group of people engaging in fun talks.
Or maybe it's just some hater upset that whatever drama or CP they are currently shipping doesn't have 71000 comments (and counting).

Disappeared from my coming soon list too!!! Oh no!!!!😭😭😭 I also just saw Marcus Sim on YouTube and he did his segment of upcoming dramas in June according to Sina Entertainment and it wasn't on the list! I am so saaad! I hope it isn't true and somehow it gets released this month.

Oh he was so bemused by the blood spitting when he first started watching C-dramas. He'd be like "wait why is he coughing blood when he got hit on the head" or "why is he spitting up blood when he fell off the horse."🤣 But now he knows it is a thing but is still not totally convinced by the logic of it all. He did say it was excessive in TTEOM and what bothered him more (and me) is not the fact they coughed up so much blood but they never bother to wipe it off as they keep talking or doing stuff. Husband insists that if he ever had any thing come out of his mouth, the first thing he'd do is wipe it off and then talk or do anything. I do tend to agree. 😂 Now I do have a friend who won't watch dramas with a lot of blood spitting because it annoys her so much. I told her she is missing on so much good stuff but she can't get on board with it.

Sorry it took me a few days to get back. We were on a trip and although we did watch the drama on the trip, we weren't able to binge watch like we usually do. So my husband likes the drama and this is his first Xianxia
ever. He watched The Untamed in the past and loved it but that wasn't
pure Xianxia. He likes the story so far and loves the world building. He also really likes BL and LYX. He said they are very versatile with incredible range. He did point out certain things he thought were weird such as sleeping with all the hair ornaments, the cgi for the river and boat scenes and the fact that the sails of the boat were always flat. 😂 It didn't seem to bother him but he thought it was funny and just minor details. The funniest thing though is that from the get-go he took an instant dislike to Bingchang's character and can't stand her. He wanted me to skip over her scenes as Tian Hua and asked me to just tell him what happens because he couldn't take it after a while. So we did that and now we are somewhere halfway through and I am really enjoying watching it with him and getting his perspective. I was surprised he was sympathetic to TTJ from the beginning and thinks YXW is too hard on him. I myself understood YXW's actions much more and though they were justified but he views it differently. So it's great fun watching with him.🙂

Yeah that's exactly what I thought. I was watching BFTB and sort of enjoying it. Nothing mind-blowing but quite entertaining. But then when I was on its MDL page, so many viewers were bringing up TTEOM unnecessarily. I was like wtf? I don't go to some drama's page to discuss another drama and bring it up unless there really was a pertinent point to make.
I am not a great fan of Xianxia but TTEOM just swept me away and I can't get over it! It truly is the gold standard for Xianxia for me. ❤️
Anyway, I've put BTFB on hold for now.

I don't plan to watch BOR. It's not because I feel it took SOKP's place but because the trailer was kind of boring and I find the leads uninteresting. I saw the ML in Accidentally in Love and found him to be a bit meh. Maybe I am wrong or maybe he's improved a lot now but BOR just didn't excite me at all.

I saw that and wasn't too excited about it. I am sort of slowly watching BFTB but can't seem to move on from TTEOM. I am rewatching it with my husband and it is so good. Makes me happy and sad all at the same time knowing what is coming. Husband is absolutely against any spoilers so I have to be very cool about everything. I was counting on SOKP to lift me out of the new drama slump but then that got postponed indefinitely.

Wow! Those must be some loaded fans! Good for them! I wish I was in NYC right now. I'd go to Times Square just to see TTJ and LSS up there on the billboard.😂
