Please can you use spoilers So Dohee knows but when she was calming him down his eyes was still red and he might…
Sorry. I totally used the spoiler tag but I don't know why it didn't tag it that way. I made an edit immediately after writing the question and maybe that's why it happened. Maybe it's cause I did it in the app? But apologies all around!
I really liked the drama despite the slowing down of the storyline for episodes 11, 12.and 13. However, I have a couple of questions and would be grateful if someone could answer/share their thoughts.
1. Why does Do Do Hee shield Gu Won from the bullet at the end of episode 15 when she knows he's the devil and can just recover from any wound?
2. So does this mean that Gu Won and Do Do Hee will have a happy life together but eventually he has to watch her grow old and die because she is human while he is still clearly the devil? I wish this part had been properly explained.
Yes, its sad to see its going down in rating because the couple didn’t get together within the first 12eps 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Yes, I completely agree. I thought it was early enough there when he was supposedly sick and didn't come to teach the class but seemed fine and she was kind of irritated to see that.
I loved the drama and it's amongst my all time favorites. I do have a question though. I have to put it in spoiler…
So in episode 31, JXN is told the story about Xie Wei as a young scholar who went against the corrupt town officials. He was then imprisoned and later taken before the magistrate and seems to be on what looks like an execution platform. They never explained what happened after that and how he escaped from all that. Did I miss something? Is there something more about that in the novel?
I stopped watching her reviews, because whenever I see any good dramas or any actor with good acting skills, she…
Yeah me too. I used to watch her reviews and liked some of her knowledge about Chinese culture and subtexts in some of the dramas. But then I found myself disagreeing more and more with her opinions and found them unreasonably biased at times. So I unsubscribed from her channel and put it under "do not recommend." She is entitled to her opinions but I felt I didn't have to hear those opinions.
Yes, I did and liked it quite a lot. I thought it was very well made and loved the general style of it very much. I don't comment on it much because most people seem to love the character of Xiang Liu but I was so-so with it and so didn't want to offend those who loved him. Not saying I disliked him but I liked the other male leads more. I very much preferred the reverse harem in SOKP more than LYF. I also didn't like the whole thing towards the end with TJ and Yi Ying and pregnancy angle. Having said all that, I am very much looking forward to season 2 and seeing how it progresses. It seems like it will be much better than season 1 because it seemed like season 1 was more of a build-up to what's to come. I saw you rated it 10 and so hope what I said doesn't come across as offensive. It is always delightful when one comes across a show one can rate 9 or 10, so yay for us!
Loved the drama. This might be my favorite drama of 2023. I was in a drama slump after TTEOM but this really hit the mark! I was worried that after all the hype (especially after the false start in May) it might be a letdown. But it was just perfect! There were some weird editing choices, camerawork and lighting but I was able to ignore it all and just thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters. I liked how the story never got boring. Although I'd have loved to keep watching Xie Wei and Jang Xui Ning's story, I felt they did a good job in trimming the story down to 38 episodes. And the ending was just perfect! I have been so tired of all the rushed endings in C-dramaland lately. Even TTEOM was a big letdown in that department.
the hell was this.....I feel like I wasted my whole day
Totally. I felt like I wasted my time too. It was quite entertaining but who wants to find out at the end of some 30 episodes that it was just some drug related dream/hallucination? Everything that happened was rendered more or less meaningless.
So If it were you, who would you choose, the one you love or the one who loves you?
Neither/depends. I can only love the one I can be myself totally with. I feel any kind of love, where you have to pretend to be gentler or nicer or more anything than who you really are, is not for me. So, even though XW, ZZ and YL are all wonderful in their own ways, I ship JXN with XW because she seems to be who she really is most with him and he seems to love her for who she is.
Sometimes I think I've spent so much time on this board that I've taken for granted how chill we all are here.…
Yeah and I am so thankful for this page. I've been watching one of the popular airing dramas and some people on its page seemed pretty angry. I feel this is my safe space. Perhaps we all also learned some of the lessons that TTJ learned.😂 Thank you everyone!❤️
