But it says there’s 12 episodes. Did they change it to 10?
The last few Jdrama’s I watched were 10 episodes. In fact I’m watching another 10 episode one right now. I guess I need to look around and find some of the longer ones. Any recommendations?
I highly recommend the drama 'Kikazaru Koi niwa Riyuu ga Atte'
I looked at the description of this drama and read some reviews and it looks like something I’d enjoy. I put it on my watch list. Once I finish the two I’m watching now I’ll watch it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Oh okay that makes sense. I was wondering why this drama had 12 episodes when Jdrama’s usually have 10 episodes. But i forgot about the special “extra” episodes. Another special episode is already showing up on Viki for next week
This is the first J drama I've watched, been stuck on K dramas all this while and clicked on this to check out…
Coffee & Vanilla is very similar to this one. Shanai Marriage Honey is also really good. Both are on Viki. I’ve watched lots of Japanese dramas but those two are the only ones I’d rewatch so far. I’ll be adding this one to my list of favorite Japanese dramas. It’s definitely worth watching again.
So does anyone else think that Kei’s stepmother isn’t really so bad and is just testing them to see if they really love each other? Kei has already made it clear to his stepmother that he loves Momo and won’t leave her side. It’s totally out of character for him so she probably realizes he really does love Momo. But what if she isn’t sure of Momo’s feelings? The chairman told Momo that Kei’s stepmother loved him and his father. If she really wants what’s best for Kei then won’t she test Momo to make sure she’s worthy of his love? I think the whole demolishing the building scenario and the rude behavior is just a ruse to see how Momo will react. What do you think?
I will not lie, I am not the biggest fan of this drama because it's kinda like Coffee and Vanilla... but you really…
You’re welcome. 😊 I watch so many dramas that they are all getting very predictable for me. That’s why I like dramas like this because they’re so different from the mainstream dramas I’m used to.
I'm glad you've said this! Most of the time, Kei character was often misunderstood bu other than that, I'm glad…
I don’t see how anyone could misunderstand Kei’s character now. He’s shown loyalty, trust, and is very mature and understanding towards his girlfriend who could easily be misunderstood.
Also remember, Hase saw Mmo feeding Saraga cake haha. Momo is ever clueless!
I just love that he saw her do that but never once doubted her. He knows she’s very naive and trusting and he accepts it. I love his maturity and confidence.
When Kei started to explain his background to Momo I was just waiting for someone to interrupt them then he never gets a chance to explain and then a misunderstanding follows. I was pleasantly surprised to see them communicate with each other so well. Then I fully expected Kei to explode with jealousy when he came upon Sagara hugging Momo. So when he fully trusted her I was shocked. I think what I like about this drama is that it doesn’t follow your typical cliche drama plot where jealousy and lack of trust is often used to create conflict and interest. Instead we have a rare drama where the main leads actually trust each other and communicate well! Everything is so unexpected and refreshing. You would think the lack of conflicts would make it boring but instead of using your typical misunderstandings to move the plot along they entice us with the steamy romance and Kei’s mysterious persona and hidden past. I just can’t get enough of this drama!
Ok. I love that there is so much interaction in the comment section. A good indicator that this worthwhile.
I’ve never interacted on the comment section before like this. But after each episode I’m drawn here like a moth to a flame. It’s not that this drama is a masterpiece or anything but there’s just something so endearing about the main leads that I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s such a sweet drama.
Wait the ML and FL aren't real? Can I have spoilers, please? I don't want to invest my time in this if they're…
Thanks for the heads up. I would have been just as angry as you. I’m so glad I didn’t start watching it. Finding out the sexy male lead isn’t even real would have made me feel so cheated. This is definitely not my cup of tea.
I'm still confused by some people's comments that Hase is creepy... I'm wondering if we're watching the same show…
I think a lot of the misconceptions are due to the way the drama is filmed and how the male lead is being presented. Most of the scenes with Hase are dark with lots of mood lighting and unusual camera angles. Then Hase is always so quiet and mysterious. People aren’t used to the male leads in dramas being presented this way. It’s usually the villains that are lurking in the shadows shrouded in mystery. So when a male lead is mysterious and secretive many might take it the wrong way. I personally love it! It’s so unique and refreshingly different from all the other boring cookie cutter romcoms that are so predictable.
I’m really interested in this drama but I’m worried about the female leads past with her ex. People keep alluding to her PTSD from her past relationship and how abusive it was. Was the abuse bad? Was she beaten really bad or raped? I just don’t think I could deal with it if that was involved. Can someone clarify please?
