Jeong yo's love for Pio was clearly visible. But i don't see pio's love for him. He seems to be too consumed by himself to love anyone else, whatever maybe the reason. His insecurity, inferiority, yearning for his grandfather's recognition, his guilt... all is about himself. Caused due to the constant emotional abuse, sure. But he's incapable of thinking about anyone else besides himself so far. Episode 7. Don't know how it'll develop next.

I read and not happy about how it ended for the grandpa. Im on epi 4 and he's a horrible human being. Shouldn't have gotten his last wish. Pio should've refused to play for him as his final wish.

So, anytime there's a raging scream about how a drama with 2 main male leads is bl coded i roll my eyes so hard that they get stuck to the back of my head. Because i don't see it. Not the ones that are meant to be secret bls like untamed. I mean, like weak hero. So when i first saw the trailer and heard the excitement around this being bl coded, i knew it wouldn't be. But man, did i know wrong! It's so queer and they have more chemistry than a lot of bl couples. They went as far as they could with a mainstream kdrama starring high profile mainstream actors. You can do a lot with good storytelling.

Also, it's fine if anyone doesn't see the queerness in it like it's fine if anyone sees romantic love between straight fictional characters. Art is open to infinite interpretations. Just don't mix up actors with fictional characters.

Why there's no episode this Wednesday?

This was a real drama queen show that got a bit bonkers by the end and i loved it, mainly because of the leads and the angst (it was totally my type). A few points:

1. You gotta be creative to insult someone by calling them a beautiful ashtray.
2. There was a song in it that was a kdrama song, don't remember the og.
3. The eventual damsel-in-distressification of Fei Foon was lovely. He is too irresistibly beautiful to no be kidnapped and obsessed over. (I need therapy, not jail)
4. Im officially a passive chainsmoker now.

Glad that i found out about this show just4 days ago so i could wait till today to binge. But like what's going on with these 2 keads? Why they both so josh darn beautiful 😲
