I feel exactly the same, like once Sammy’s ends I’ll go through the same emptiness I felt after TMS. After Friday I probably won’t find another series that truly fills that gap again. Not anytime soon at least. He was responsible for his mother’s death, left his brother nearly crippled, kept him locked in his house, and abused him for weeks. At one point, he even brought his son over just to make him watch him assault his father. And there’s a lot more, those are just the worst things I remember from the novel.
