Yeah, the only CGI fight scenes that I'd still consider wuxia are basically BFX's sleeve/ribbon fights. I was happy to see her bust that out again for a little bit in one of the last battles.

My head canon is that every day, BFX keeps cultivating that Sacred Jade Moon flower with her inner powers until it blooms again, and then they use it to restore HFX's lifespan, and they live out a long life together. The end. lol

lol, that fight sequence in the air/outside did feel a bit out of place though, like it belong more in a donghua/anime.

I agree with most of your points. Heh, I thought of Dong Hua when I saw FLX with the white hair. And yeah, YY does not look good in that. My expectations for the final fight scene was pretty low, and somehow it still felt disappointing.

The ending was...alright. Feels more like a bittersweet ending than a happy one despite our power couple being able to retire from the world together in peace. Ten years is not a long time. 🥺 I'm also not a big fan of his look with the white hair, but that's just a personal taste thing. That eyebrow drawing ending though is basically a copy of the ending to Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre, lol. 🙄 But hey, at least we got someone to fix her eyebrows. 🤣🤣🤣
