I'm liking it enough to plan to finish it. Plus it's only 22 episodes so not too much time invested either way. lol, the clinging is only towards the beginning and it's not the usual kind. It's more that she's horny and she wants him and doesn't give a damn what other people thinks of her. But she's all talk anyway because as soon as the ML turns it on her and calls her bluff, she settles down, lol 🤣

I've been on the fence about that one for a while. I'm a fan of Dilireba and Zhao Lusi, but not too big on revenge stories. Also, I'd heard some complaints about the ending, something about birds that left people upset, lol. Maybe I'll give it a try when I have some more time to invest, so no spoilers! 😂

lol, Rattan was going to be on my list of suggestions too. I'd say that Qiao Jingjing in You Are My Glory gave me the closest vibes as a modern equivalent.
The Killer is Also Romantic is also a good one with a power couple, and it's short so you don't need to invest too much time.
The Legend of Condor Heroes and Xiao Ao Jiang Hu both have powerful FLs, but those traditional wuxia don't really put them on equal footing with the MLs, plus Huang Rong in LoCH doesn't have the same...aura. :(
My Fated Boy has a smart and capable FL, but she's fairly...normal, lol
