Is it that good guys ?
ps: I have never seen a chinese drama before .^_^
If you watch a drama expecting it to match up to another drama, it will usually fall short. You have to enjoy the drama for what it is presenting, not what you expect it to be. I think Six Flying Dragons and Nirvana in Fire are two completely different dramas in every aspect down to their clothing. Two historical dramas does not mean liking one you will like another, not to mention cultural differences between China and Korea. People smiting Nirvana in Fire saying Six Flying Dragons is better are obviously making wrong comparisons between two dramas with nothing in common.
I just finished... What happened at the end? I'm super confused even as the ending song rolled and pictures were shown I still have no clue what happened. The entire ending made no sense, so did Lee Jae Han live or die??
Has anyone watched Steins Gate? This drama feels similar, the writer probably got his idea from that anime. The moral of the story will probably become the same as well, teaching the protagonist a lesson about not messing with time.
This drama steadily crept up in my esteem until now, 6 months later I finally give it 10/10. On my first watch it was 9/10, then 2nd rewatch 9.5, and now on my third it's a solid 10/10. The OST first of all is beautiful standalone and in the drama it enhanced the story so much, it's literally the best OST I've ever heard in any drama ever, full of heartwarming warmth and anguish experienced in love. Just! Too fantastic for words. The story of this drama is also unique and did not get boring each rewatch, I just felt like I got to know the characters even better and they became more relatable and lovable.
I tried to watch this... another one of my Korean historical attempts, but once again the plot flew over my head just like the six flying dragons so aptly named did. I'm... to summarize lost and confused as hell with this drama.
i want to watch drama with similar character to cheon song yi.....i'm watching cheese in the trap for baek in…
I see you watched I hear your voice, I was going to recommend that. Also It's ok, that's love is also very good and could match what you're looking for :)
I find myself re-watching this drama over and over again... It's been 3 months since I first watched it, and already I re-watched it fully 4 times over lol. Ahhhhh I can't jump out of this drama!
Done with this drama. To be honest it really did not live up to my expectation both acting wise and mainly story wise... This drama handled the romance so half heatedly, making the heroine favor both guys and couldn't pick one. She got one, but she missed the other, then vice versa. Bah. In the end I hated both guys equally because they were not very 'likeable' even though Emperor Zhu Qi Zhen developed into a more mature character. All in all... I think compared to Sound of the Desert, this drama was a little worse due to the acting, but the story was equally bad. 7/10 for me.
I guess the best part in this drama was when the Emperor was trapped with the tribal people because it involved…
Yes! I'm so pissed off at this drama, it's a complete mess of overly sentimental romantic relationships that don't lead anywhere. I just wish it focused MORE on medicine and her being a doctor!
On episode 39. I can't hold it anymore! Why is this drama so bloody slowwwwwwww! It's 10 episode before the end and seriously THEY'RE STILL STUCK IN WALA! When are you going back to Beijing and the king gain back his position?! IS that never going to happen? Gah! This drama is so frustrating!
I'm on episode 29 and yea I can see the low production cost... You can always tell how much money is invested into a historical drama by the war scenes. This one had so much fake scenes and editing together to make it seem like people are fighting each other. They don't even zoom out to show the whole field, meaning there's probably barely 50 people hired to fake fight.
This drama is so good. I caught up with the airing in less than 2 days. Love Cecilia in here, the story this time is looking to be much better than Sound of the Desert. I wish there was one pairing only, instead of having a second and third lead making everything complicated. Also people will hate me for saying this, but Wallace's acting pales in comparison to the guy playing as his brother. He is just a little bit more handsome, but those cloth is not very flattering on him -cough-
Completely boring drama, with zero emotions and few actions, i didn't feel anything watching it...and...flying…
I honestly just think it's the language barrier and lack of understanding of cultural history that makes historicals a pain to watch for foreigners. My personal experience with watching Korean historical is no matter how highly rated it is... I just find it merely tolerable. Too many unknown words, and ancient Korean politics just fly over my head. That's why I love Nirvana in Fire since its Chinese and i actually understand names, rankings, and be able to appreciate this drama for how amazing it is <3
