i guess, majority of watchers still like the bland forced marriage themes.

Lots of people die, but no, in the novel FX has happy big family and Kids.

I do follow her for 4 or 5 yrs now and she does have great insights coz she an insider in the C-Drama industry. But i also disagree with her on at least 50% on All her verdicts about the shows. If we happened to have the same opinion, great. If not, doesnt matter. She watches the dramas more on an analytical level, i only watch them based on emotional impact. Of course, she is fascinating to me, coz she is canadian of Chinese origin and i am german of Chinese origin. And we both are nearly the same age range, i guess. She does knows the shows and era prior to the C-Dramas of the last 2 decades, and prior to the age of Internet, and knows how it was when worldwide, those overseas Chinese like us, were watching Hongkong and Taiwan dramas❤️📺📺📺on vhs Tapes as kids and Teenagers📺📺📼📼📼🤣🤣

Though i love it, i equally understand why many felt bored with S2. It is truly giving different vibes than S1, its those storylines where you have to Follower closely and rewatch several times, to geht behind everything. Simply not everyone cup of tea

well except for the first 5 eps, of S2, which i feel like spend to long on his "ressurrection", i love the entire S2 of JOL more than S1.
and its a hard contender between SSS and JOL2.

nirvana in fire is probably never getting dethroned in my mind, and for as long as a live.
there will be probably a miracle, if they can get NIF 3 better than 1.

Season 2 was meh. Direction is meh . Acting is meh Editing was meh. Someone got paid less and they did not do good job. People are there acting was there. Writing / Direction / Editing was gone in quality

Only constant was Wang Qi Nian acting. Season 2 have many loop hole in plot
