sorry, its been over 5 years, since i read that, and since the entire novel has 800 chapters , i dont remember. If i had to guess, then purely on mathematics, and since the producers will make 3 seasons, i would say, the ending you are looking for, is somewhere between the chapters 250 - 350 .

also, the skriptwriter made some really great changes for the drama, so even if you know the entire novel like I do, watching the drama is still great, coz well, yeah overall arc is present , but some stuff has been changed, and its kind cool, to not being able to predict ,what has been changed and whats not.

i wish, there was some sort of place, where i could download the entire novel in one piece. Then i could feed it to some chatgpt AI, and tell them to make a novel and shorten it down to 200 chapters.
trust me, in those 800 chapters (the individual chapters are not that long) there are lots of not so interesting plots and fillers. the overall main arcs are damn faszinating, but there is stuff, that could be easily cut out, and it wouldnt make the story bad.

each of us can probably feed our own AI with all the fanfics and novels we like, and have each of us, our tailorized dramas and movies (as long, of course, as we pay our license fee to the studious and stars and idols. or take all the old dramas of now, and put in the faces of the stars that we like, instead of getting upset, why this and that star is being used.

and its even finished - in contrast to some other TV shows thats a blessing that even if S3 might never come, we know the ending. (e.g. like in US, Game of Thrones, where the author GRR Martin is like 90 yrs old, and the readers might never know his ending, coz he might be dying, and thus the TV directors made up their own stuff, to go through 8 seasons of GoT to finish)

sorry, but my prediction is, they are likely to end S2 with a cliffhanger like S1.

well, quite to be honest, i dont give a fuck, where its going to be streamed. the site, that gets its fastest and offers an easy download button on a old fashioned browser on a deskop computer, , i will go there and download.
whoever is the official distributor in whatever country, i will just download that app on smartphone later, and pay for a subscription .

according to the novel there are more princes, one of them is the youngest, still a child of äh 9 or 10 years, i dont remember clearly ( i am still in the process of rereading those 800 chapters, lol, i am still at chapter 200 and that is only with lots of skipping the boring storylines, and was planning to try to rewatch s1, but alas, a day only has 24 hrs..) that youngest one, as you said, is going to be crowned.

I have seen several comments and in other news sites that the Charakter is still there(well in the novel yan bingyun is absolutely crucial) but just another actor. I like XZ but in S1 that Charakter arc was not big yet, so i dont mind seeing another face instead.
