what is an S+ project? i gather that is some sort of classification probably, but still would appreciate if you explain? is there a chart somewhere, where the different shows/dramas are categorized ? thanks!

that is true, though i would not be sure about them legally being sold in those asian countries. Vietnam at that time (at least in the 80 and early 90 was a VERY poor country, actually one of those top 10 poorest country in the world) was very poor and still under the thumb of stoneage communists so i doubt they obtain legally those rights for dubbing and subbing the HK shows. But of course, those existed, even though in Germany, there is only a small number of vietnamese and vietnamese of chinese descendants, most of my relatives, when they went to netherlands or france to buy asian food, those supermarkets usually had TVB stores with those ancient VHS tapes to rent :)
so yeah, i mostly watched TVB in cantonese, but i knew, lots of my relatives who did not learn cantonese , they watched them in vietnamese as well.
so, yeah, since in the 80/90 vietnam was lacking an own film and drama industry, my people there were (as well as those living across the world in the diaspora) were quite crazy about hongkong dramas (since at that time, China did not rise with its film industry yet, so south east asians had either Hongkong, or Taiwan dramas, with the occasinally dramas from Singapore. )

those were the old ancient times :)
where lots of illegal tapes obviously were also floating around, since if you lived in a remote area, there was not even a way to legally obtain anything.
now with the internet, and youtube, and hundreds of legal and illegal websites for streaming, its a different world!

i am afraid , there wont be any, but i have also put my vietnamese elder relatives, in those vietnamese forums, on track, and ask them, to check for me, if there ever has been some vietnamese dubbing. coz for part 1, there was, but i have never seen it mentioned anywhere official.
i think, those vietnamese dubbers did it ..ähh well, more or less illegal?

i just wanted to come to inform you, thanks to your tip with the bilibili site, which i can access on my desktop computer, i can now, after nearly 20 years, see the second season! i mean, ok, i dont understand anything, and it will never have subs, but i am so happy, at least, to be able to watch the show!

thank you so much! i am quite bummed, that both show that i currently want to watch (blue whisper) and this one, are yet without eng subs... but alas i still have IDK, like 20 dramas since autumn last year, that i have not watched yet, so its quite... i am sorta relieved that they have no subs, so i can wait until they are completely aired, and then maybe subs will come. until then such clips and pics of cheng yi will tide me over.

wondering if "who rules the world" will also be without subs... ( i am pretty much neutral in that show about the main FL and ML , i was more happy to see the male side leads, since i recognized them from other dramas :))

i am totally confused, i just saw somewhere the trailer of this drama, and it says its from 2016?? what the hell happened, that its still not aired up until now 2022?? i like the first ep, so far! its all like, everyone is already have hidden plans within plans and agendas , and there is like going to be heaps of deceit and betrayal going on :D

that is true, they stretched it too much. I dont even see why that was necessary, since the novel is so long, there is plenty of plot they could have used.
but alas, lets see if we ever get S2 and S3.

the main character is also more darker than in the show. but i guess they were too afraid to make him darker, since a hero shouldnt have that sort of darkness ....

i saw someone on youtube commented on a trailer 3 days ago : A MUST WATCH DRAMA; SO GOOD, RECOMMENDED.
and was like thinking, huuhh are must be an insider, that they have seen the episodes ahead of the rest of us, or how can you start even praising a show, that has not aired yet?

i mean, sure, if a trailer is great, then complimenting the trailer is all fine, but recommending a show, that is not even out yet?? ( i mean, i still remember lots of oh so great hollywood trailers from the last 20 years. 75% of them , the movies turned out...average at best..)

some people are surely strange. (I actually ask that person, how she knew, the show is great, and where she watched it, but they never replied back)
