If my normal friends asked me to show them a couple of shows to help them get an idea of why I love BL so much, this would not be one of them. It is becoming increasingly juvenile and stupid. The I'm -rushing-home-to-take-care-of-my-cat-as-though-it-were-a-human-being-and-I'll-forget-my-phone-so-as-to-cause-miscommunication-and-angst plot line is beyond stupid. Not calling the little BF immediately is even stupider. How is this coffee shop going to survive, considering it's not located on a sidewalk, and is nowhere near a street with any foot traffic? How does the girl not know the teacher is gay? Hello? The acting has become more wooden with each episode; also it seems they're delivering their lines more stiffly and with ten-second pauses between lines of conversation, in the familiar Thai style of BL dialogue delivery. The teacher pedophile and nine-year-old student couple kiss like their lips are super-glued shut when they are standing up, but in the earlier bed scene, there was some actual, open-mouthed kissing...I guess the prone/naked thing got them loosened up and carried away.
The only semi-good acting has come from the coffee dude and his dead wife.
Oveall, my rating-to-come is lowering as the number of episodes goes up. Time for the creation of a new BL category to got with TOOT (Turd Out Of Thailand) and TOOK (Turd Out of Korea): TOOTW (Turd Out Of TaiWan).
Terrible movie. Started out possibly intriguing, then went to implausible, then to stupid, then to hilariously bad. If you are given the choice of watching this thing or killing yourself, take the latter option. The young mistress actress apparently attended the same academy of acting as did IU. Like IU, this one has one, dead expression 95% of the time.
More plot holes and stupidities than you can imagine.
Meh. Dropping at about 35 minutes. I was forcing myself to stick with it...not a good sign. Maybe more interested in the way it is telling the story than in the story itself: Repeated flashbacks, black and white to color and back again, etc. Bored. Your mileage may differ.
