Hi there. I used to NEVER report anyone to the mods. Like, ever. I considered it "snitching" or "tattling," and I've never been that sort of person. However, over the last five years, during which I've become a huge fan of Asian cinema, especially Korean, as well as BL (I know, there's a lot of BL garbage), and watched the number of celebrity suicides grow ever longer, my perspective and attitude has changed.
Last week, when the throw-down between Knetz Killer Klowns and normal people came to a head in the thread under KSH's profile page, and I started to see those who trashed him with the slander I mentioned above be removed and banned, I thought "hell yeah! It's about damn time!" and joined in the report-fest. It's like taking a shower.
I am impressed with MDL for aggressively tackling this situation. I was surprised to see the mods go into hyper-mode, but glad they did. These threads are mostly a breath of fresh air now. As for it taking some effort, not at all! All you have to do is click the "report" button under the offending comment, copy and paste the comment into the pop-up that appears, point out the rule that's been broken, and hit "submit." Takes no time at all. I've probably reported 20 comments under KSH articles or on his profile page. It's fun! :) Join in!
And yes, it was just today that a knetz referred to KSH by the slurs mentioned above and urged him to off himself. Coming from people who do what they do, it's no surprise at all.

The Korean wave of celebrity suicides really only got going after Princess Diana's death, but I get your point. These people attacking KSH are nutjobs.
Also, since I often criticize MDL for printing trashy articles that spread rumors and falsehoods about celebrities with zero credible evidence, I must say BRAVO! to MDL for publishing KSH's attorneys' statements without editorializing or sensationalizing it.
