I might be the only one who feels this way, but...I want more main characters in shows to get together halfway…
You should write a screenplay! Seriously though, if the focus were just showing them being blissfully happy, walking in the park, holding hands on the beach, giggling over meals, doing the laundry, and attending Pride parades, how interesting would that be?
BL by definition has almost always been about surprising desires, the fight for self when faced with the truth of one's sexual orientation, self-acceptance, conflict with others through those processes, and either bliss or disaster at the end. I probably wouldn't consider a show such as you describe to be a BL, which doesn't mean it couldn't be good as whatever genre it is.
It is still not easy to be gay in most parts of the world. Fantasizing that two male college students could be openly gay and together in Tokyo without facing conflict leaves us with tripe like Thailand's "Secret Crush On You" (shoot me now) or other pseudo BLs in which everyone is either blissfully gay or joyously accepting of those who are, which is not the real world.
Plus, I'm the type who lives for angst, pain, suffering, frustration, tragedy, and darkness in my movies and series. What can I say? :D
Grandpa and Mom know what's up. So do Taichi's buddies. Why would handsome, tall, sweet Satoshi be interested in that conniving, pale midget?
Taichi is becoming one of my all-time favorite BL protagonists. He is quirky without being obnoxious, smart-alecky but also kind, cares about people near him, is loud and joyful by nature, goofy, and adorable when jealous/pouty. I bet he has a little, rockin' bod under all those Japanese, baggy, oversized clothes.
Regarding the midget: What's with Japanese women/girls who talk without moving their lips?
Yeah that's pretty much it, he said something like "no i didn't go that far (in what i was expressing)/I didn't…
Different people show themselves at different paces...and people perceive things about others at their own speed. Besides, all Takara knows of Taishin at this point is that he can't put together a complete sentence in one breath, speaks and moves like the most timid of Japanese housewives, and gets fevers from anxiety. What's to be attracted to?
I keep thinking maybe Taishin will reveal more interesting and stronger layers of himself as he gets used to being around Takara, but he's still acting like a shy 12-year-old girl on her first date with the most popular boy in middle school.
Episode 7 title: "Psycho Deaf Bitch" "What can YOU do for Senior...?!" I'm pretty sure there are a couple of things Taichi is equipped to do for Senior. that she can't compete with. ;P

He seemed to be saying he is interested, but not to the point of being able to that he "likes" Taishin yet. The point of dating is to get to know each other and find out if you're compatible and develop more intense feelings.
The only way this relationship makes any sense is as a sexual slave/master scenario. Takara is clearly confident and dominant, while Takara has the self-esteem of a gnat and is so submissive I keep expecting him to turn inside out. Them together as a romantic couple is not believable, but I could see Takara coldly making use of Taishin's orifices.
The screenplay is as slow and dull as an intellectually-challenged turtle.
Iwasa Yoji's looks are the reason I keep watching. Thank god the eps are so short.
bruhhhh i see u in the comments of so many dramas lolll. but i rlly love ur comments cause it helps me decide…
Oh good! I'm glad to hear that. Glad to be of service.
Yeah, the last couple of years I've been working from home and it makes it very easy to scope out movies. I watch a film almost every night. Check my profile and the "custom lists" if you're interested in seeing what my faves are.
When the stranger stood up, I was surprised at his height and body type. For some reason, seeing only his shoulders and head had me expecting that he was rather short. Also about the stranger, his body language when walking was very...cool. Wow, don't know how to describe it. Loose but also controlled, fluid but also masculine. Body language is a powerful thing that we don't talk about enough.
Too much clown white makeup on the stranger though. When he first appeared, I thought he was a ghost. The lead was cute and did a good job all-round.
LSK wasn't "lost," he killed himself after being driven to despair by months of harassment from Korean police,…
Why? You keep repeating yourself without saying WHY this should be done, other than because that's what you want. This is a wide-open forum. Anyone can reply to any kind of comment. If you can't handle it, stay out of comments.

"i feel the need to remind you that it's not right just to post your negative comment under a positive one, just posts it as a comment itself, not as a reply."
What the hell are you talking about? MDL rules allow, even encourage, us tor respond to comments we disagree with. If that were not the case, the technical side of things here would not allow it. "....it's not right..." lol Says who? The voices in your head don't count.
You are in a tizzy because someone dared to criticize your daughter's acting, which is mostly lame and one-note. But your tizzy-ness is none o f my busy-ness. Go work on your IUD memorabilia collection.

ummm...I hadn't left a comment about IUD in three months. You're the one who decided to raise the issue again, IUD's mom, by responding to a three month-old comment.
"You can't just leave negative opinions under other ppls opinions and then call it a day..." Why not? That's what you just did. lol
"...it's called hating IUD which is a sin." lol That's so stupid I will just let it sit here and speak for itself.

Pouty Taichi is heartbreaking...
There is NOTHING about Taishin that Takara would be attracted to, other than as a submissive sex toy.

7.5/10 Worth a watch!
