so maybe you don't know, if you only watch Asian series, but in hollywood many world-famous and talented actors…
I have heard about Sky and Nani, I am actually watching High School Frenemy, while I do love the acting on that series, I am a bit on the fence with how shipping real actors goes, I am not comfortable with cp shipping because I don't know the actors in real lifeand I don't feel comfortable imagining who they are with either. I care about the story and the craft. However tbh irrespective of whether actors are selling the cps or not people still make it all about the ship. With SkyNani also the cp shipping is happening, I see it every day on twitter and they are getting all the break out popularity as a cp without having done an actual BL which does make me uncomfortable. They are good actors , I will check out their works but the whole thing about their so called cp makes me uncomfortable. I haven't seen anything from YinWar yet but I do want to watch Jack and Jocker. I do enjoy watching lakorns sometimes if the story attracts me. I actually loved Spare me your mercy a lot , it didn't matter if the romance was less. I want a good story ultimately, irrespective of a BL or mainstream drama and Spare me your mercy gave me that.
It's okay if Sky and Nani don't want to do a BL, it's better to not do it if you are not ready to make a commitment, or do it well, however they are reaping all the benefits that and more as a cp which Idk makes me a bit uncomfortable.

I am Indian and I live in India but I have watched Us tv series and Hollywood films all my life. I know about who has kissed whom. I just feel every industry is different and every country is different. So I don't go into watching a series expecting it to be like the US because yes culturally it is going to be very different. There used to be a very clear difference between BL actors and mainstream lakorn actors. Even Taiwan BLs rarely include mainstream A list actors , you might see A list actors in LGBTQ films but in BLs hardly so. In Thailand however a change is happening, where mainstream lakorn actors are also doing BLs , the dramas they do might have less explicit scene but it is helping in bringing mainstream audiences to LGBTQ stories. I see it as a good thing because I know how conservative society can be in so many aspects. So it really is a big deal if A list actors are also coming into to BLs. It would be a big deal if this happened in India too.

Yea, while I agree the Western industry isn't any paradise either, at least speaking from my pov, I had never…
I was in the Supernatural fandom a long time, and there were some examples of delusional behaviour in that fandom. When SPN started the leads weren't married so people used to believe J2 are in a relationship and after they got married to their respective partners, their wives got tons of tagged hate, Jensen's wife Danneel used to answer back sometimes but the hate was overwhelming and she stopped. To this day, even after they have had multiple children, these fans still believe that their wives are beards to hide J2s real relationship and the children were born through artificial procedures. Some of the stuff they said about their wives and children and still do are frankly disturbing So I have seen delusional behaviour in a western fandom, I just don't know if it's only spn or not. Also many years ago Latin Pop had this rule about their singers not allowed to date like Ricky Martin and Chayanne. Chayanne secretly got married in 1992 without even letting his management know. He only revealed his marital status years later in 1997 when his son was born and it still caused a lot of "heartbreak" reactions from fans.

i have so much to say!! i had a straight face throughout this entire episode because of how much i hate that idols…
The attitude of people who are fans is that "we are supporting you, we spent money to buy your merchandise, we spent money going to fan meetings, we are spending money to give to you as gifts or buy you expensive things (another extreme behaviour) so you should behave exactly how we expect you to behave" . So when they see dating rumours they feel like their trust has been broken that they have been deceived and defrauded (actual words used by these fans) by the actors. They feel they have been betrayed. Honestly I chose not be in the BL fandom because of this type of extreme behaviour. I like to watch BLs in my own way, I found I enjoy it a lot more that way. Most of the BL fandom cares a lot more about the real CP than about the story or the craft. The dehumanising of BL actors really gets to me. It's just so unfair.

Fans act like their ships are real relationships 😂🤣
Very recently BossNeul, someone found Boss might have a Gf, and the wank is already starting . The constant hate people expressed when JJ and Thanapob were cast because they have gfs so how could they do a BL and then Tor's breakup happened so some people were wishing JJ to have a breakup too. Even actors like Film whi clearly in many interviews said he was not here to queerbait, he was playing the character and he is straight, the JamFilm shippers targetted both of them , Film's gf and one31 actress Bint who they think is Jam's gf, they made separate accounts to hate on these women, editing their pics to make them look ugly and constantly sending hate to both of them. It got to the point where Film literally asked for time out from the Jam Film pairing ,a big reason why they did the concert to break ship. After Jam launched his clothing brand people found out Bint had helped him with capital for it, so they made a huge issue that they only want to buy his own thing, not a sign of Bint should be there, ultimately the brand was closed down. Similar behaviour to what fans have done with Film's GF,I saw happen with Mile's gf too, people making accounts and hating particularly her but also him. Jan got hate cause she was seen with Tay. Thanapob got hate cause he was dining out with Tay and invited Gun Atthaphan to join them. People said he was trying to break TayNew. The list is endless. I haven't even gone to GMMTV yet

Not just idols, BL actors also go through this type of reaction from audiences/fans, any time they are seen with someone other than their pair or they have a relationship or they are rumoured to be in a relationship. It happens every single day, all over social media.

What are you even talkin bout?!
Some people started saying William is 19 and he is a minor till 20 according to Thailand. Now I read up online and apparently under 20 is considered a minor ( in terms of carrying weapons etc) but the legal age of consent for having sex in Thailand is 15. Since William is 6 days short of turning 20 , some people made it an issue. I don't understand though if the legal age of consent for sex is 15 then the kissing shouldn't be an issue.

I was baffled by the whole drama that happened yesterday. Like the kissing was passionate, but it wasn't all that exiplict, he only took off his shirt. Also he is above 18. Apparently it's so problematic that it has to be all taken down? I don't understand at all. This is such a good drama, so beautifully done, why does it have to be targeted like this.

This was the news abput CH7 entering BL, GL market. I am so haopy that you see how far theybhave come but I mentioned it because many people seem to think Thailand is removing queer stories and reducing BLs, I have seen discourse about it on tumblr and it surprises me tbh. People seem to also not feel happy that the mainstream dramas have less explicit scenes. Mostly I want good stories and more acceptance of LGBTQ among common audiences too. Many BLs continue to make NC scenes heavy dramas and more will come in future for
us to enjoy. I just find so much negativity at some places when there aren't that many explicit scenes. Ultimately I don't understand how to react sometimes.

I don't know if they have started yet or not . Hopefully we will see it. Also CH3, Channel 7 and One31 are the big three TV channels in Thailand. Ch3 and One31 already started doing BLs in the last few years, Channel 7 which has a more audience base in rural areas has also announced a BL in their lineup this year. With established main stream actors they don't do explicit scenes probably because their shows appeal to the wider audience not niche BL watchers. So they take it slow. To Sir with Love was not only well received but it actually helped start conversations and understanding in families of many LGBTQ people. So it did impact their society in a positive way. I know there are criticisms about these actors not doing very explicit scenes but that doesn't mean it doesn't impact the society in general. Maybe in future we might see mainstream actors in more explicit BLs too. The scope of BLs is increasing and we see so many different topics and themes too. Honestly I sometimes don't understand why people don't see how far BLs have developed in the last 5 years.
