Honestly speaking, do you think KSH's career will go higher next year and beyond? Or was Start Up his peak? I'm not talking acting wise/looks, b/c he's got both. But more in the sense of career wise/agency doing a good job in ushering in his leading man career? Please be honest, y'all. Korea moves on fast to another star. Any thoughts?
I believe its esom. In the webtoon, esom is the one who likes the ML and naeun is just the "hacker"
Personally, I for one, am glad that Korea seems to be moving away from romance. Too much of it can detract from the story, I think subtle/hints of romance is fine. As long as the main cases/story is in drive.
i like both the FL's they are so confident in themselves..also how this drama is talking about homosexuality and…
Oh wow. How do they address homosexuality and women's smoking? I also saw how they touched upon religion and lol, I like that they show the other side to it.
"The story just get kind of dumb. The FL and ML are not quite matching." Visually or acting wise?
AH I see. Her character does become a bit better by the 2nd half. And I think we see/understand her p.o.v more so once the truth comes out. Let's be real, their chemistry was never going to set the world on fire.
Shin Min Ah is positively reviewing the script so I don't think she would reject the offer and KSH is popular…
Oh for Ji Soo, no comment. I don't care for him lol. As for KSH, he's always steals the shows in whichever project he's been in. So dude def. has the chops/charisma down.
But for CTG/Waikiki 2's case, he wasn't paired up with big name/hot stars/quality script, so even if he did a good job there, it went under the radar. And his career didn't gain much from it until Start Up.
As for You Drive Me Crazy, it's a bummer that that kiss scene focused more on the FL's perspective lol than his. I could tell he put in a lot of effort, but it didn't show his side lol. His romances in his shows tend to be cute/shy side. He's yet to dive in fully into a romance genre, where we see multiple kiss scenes yet. Whereas, in his plays, he dives in more there with the kissing/etc. More passionate scenes displayed there than in his dramas.
This is going to be controversial, but I rather him steer clear of idol actresses, no offense. I find that fandom to be overwhelming/toxic at times. He clearly doesn't like having dating rumors being attached to him, so I think he has to choose carefully. As for SMA, I do hope they can pair up if this does every occur. She's established, mature, and well respected. And her fandom is very low-key too. Same!
if you didnt like suzy's acting i dont think you will like yoona's...
I guess, we will see then. I personally don't want him to get on the Ji Chang Wook path of bad dramas/bad picks just to be in the public eye. Plus, I don't think he's a fan of doing fluffy rom-coms judging by his theatre work.

A lot of people said the same thing? Was MGY and KSH too sibling like looking? Or was KSH's boyishness compared to MGY lacking? Or MGY's visual lacking next to KSH?
One of my favourite actress, it's a shame that she has only stared in a single drama as a main lead. Hopefully…
In Korea, film stars are more highly regarded. Plus, her film roles give her the breadth to be versatile. Had she been in K-dramas more, she would be stuck doing romance. In films, she gets to do a multitude of different roles and genres.
She got married so young at 22! And gave birth the following year :O Shows you that if you've the right look/talent, that getting settled down isn't career suicide. Eventually, your time will come.
SBS showed Return/Penthouse/Big Issue with 19+ ratings for certain episodes. So they can go a bit darker if they…
Crime/Thriller Dramas do well b/c it has a beginning, middle, and end. You revolve around multiple different cases, and focus on your FL/ML's hijinks. Add some suspense/thriller elements, some humor, and a badass villain. And boom you've a ratings success! Look at The Good Detective, which was a surprise hit for JTBC.
What is the exact number of episodes? 8 seems to small for the stature of these two actresses. Surely, it's a mistake? Esp. given how the writer's prior work did well ratings wise.
As in previous roles weren't as intriguing as HJP, do you think his acting improved or the way HJP was so strong as a character?
