I also wished there was one more episode to answer some of the unanswered questions I have for the drama, but I guess the writers were already generous enough to even give us the ending that they did. The tears we shed in the name of love for this drama were worth it in the end. 🥹

LOL. That description is on point~ The whole time, I just kept thinking, "don't you guys have anything better to do???" Sima Jiao and Tingyan are out here falling in love and being cute together, but their names stay constantly in the mouths of the immortal masters. They are bigger fans of the main couple than we are. 😂

Honestly, the romance was near perfection - I have no complaints about that at all. I just wished the pacing and focus on the plot was better. There could've been less scenes with the immortal masters scheming. 😅 I agree with your sentiment about wanting one more episode with them in the modern world. How amazing will that be? 😭💕

This was one of the issues I had with Tingyan in the first arc too. I loved her so much, but I hated the fact that despite all the dangers surrounding her and Sima Jiao, and the amount of effort he put into increasing her cultivation, she made no use of her powers. I was worried that she would remain passive and meek until the end, but the second arc came, and it put to rest all my concerns regarding her character development. Don't worry - she will grow and become someone worthy of her position as a heroine in this world. :)
