I agree~ Every time Raging Waves by Lars Huang starts playing, I get chills. The osts really elevate the emotional scenes in this drama.

That's just how some cultures are. With his mother gone, his father's consort becomes main wife aka empress. By default, she is his "legal" mother.

And the most pathetic part is, the man she is betraying her brother for doesn't even want her, lol. She ruined her relationship with her brother for nothing of substance.

FR, he is such a hypocrite. He didn't just torture little kids, he killed the ones who weren't "strong" enough to survive. And then he manipulates the ones who do survive by lying to them and making them swear allegiance to him.

He is the easiest SML to hate and I can't wait for him to meet his end.

I finally caught up to the most recent episode and I just want to praise how captivating Fated Hearts is. I haven't thoroughly enjoyed a drama like this in a while. This pulled me out of my drama slump~

I did read that the drama was filmed in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau. I think the drama had to be set in a fictional city, but nonetheless these real locations are beautiful. Loved the way they were used in the story.

I hate that there's a mistress in this drama, but in this context, it do make sense for why she is in the story. She has ulterior motives. It actually helps move the story forward, imo.

Yes! That was one of the first clues that made me wary of her true identity. The writers set that up a little to well for it to just be a coincidence.

The necklace is suspicious to me as well. I'm curious as to if it'll come into play later.
