I agree, but the rating has actually increased since the last time I checked. It was sitting at 7.8 not too long ago. I hope that as more people give this drama a chance, they will realize what a gem it is and give it a more deserving rating~

I love how genuinely happy Lin Yan looks every time he has a family meal with the Shens. You can tell how lonely he has been all these years, and how grateful he is to be part of a family again. ❤️

Murong Yao claims he's doing all of this for the Murong family, specifically for himself and his dad, but his dad would never ask this of him. The look of horror and disbelief at the idea of Murong Yao betraying the country his dad fought and bled for was evident in the most recent episodes. His dad would rather die than condone any of this, so who is Murong Yao really doing it all for?

Murong Yao likes to twist the stories to fit his own agenda, at times even contradicting himself, and it's frustrating to watch it all on screen, lol.

Oooh, I did not know that. I guess the writers really wanted to make it clear who they wanted us to root for by making the SML completely unlikable in the drama then. 😂

Honestly, that wouldn't surprise me lol.

I hope now that they dumped a bunch of villain backstories on us, they'll give the drama back to the main leads.

FR. If anything, the SML's backstory makes me like him even less. He knows what it is like to be helpless and at the mercy of powerful enemies. And yet, he turns around and hurts other defenseless individuals. I can never support someone who tortures children and turns them into his slaves, and no sob story is going to make me feel bad for him.

Thank god. This is reassuring because she has so much growing up to do.

FR. Murong Yao's reasoning for why he resents Feng Suige is one of the dumbest villain origin stories ever. Feng Suige was a defenseless kid, who was also a victim, so how was any of that his fault? If Murong Yao was truly that upset, instead of scheming against Feng Suige all of these years, he could've used that energy to find out who sent those assassins and went after them.

At this point, the writers aren't even trying.

I honestly do not care about any of the antagonists. Some of their explanations for why they hate Feng Suige are beyond ridiculous (I'm looking at you, Murong Yao.)

Too much screentime has been wasted on these characters and it just makes me want to fast-forward through all their scenes. They're not interesting enough to carry the story, and I am over their sob stories.

This drama is called Fated Hearts, so why is it focusing so much on people without hearts?

Such a funny and lighthearted drama! I love the family dynamic and food cinematography. The first five episodes were great; I look forward to the rest~ 💕

After Feng Xiyang's little stunt, she is dead to me. I'm so tired of her shit. Her family needs to let her fend for herself.
