I feel like this could be cdrama's version of the Reply series. the 90s setting and high school to adulthood progression feels similar. I've seen a lot of people complain about the lead's styling in the teaser post but imo it fits the time frame.
they're already doing press without an airing date?
I think it'll air August 6th as scheduled. right now iqiyi has Strange Tales airing and it's doing very well. makes no sense to cut into their own marketshare.
in my opinion the trailers have the same feel as the trailers they released for LBFAD. In my opinion they didnāt…
no I meant the set design and cinematography looks low budget. the filter is also very dark idk I'm not feeling it so far. LBFAD is my favorite xian xia in recent years! lol that drama has amazing visuals. this doesn't match up so far.
idk how to feel so far because the trailers so far look very.. low budget for a xian xia. not sure if this is even S-level budget (doesn't seem like it).
I think the cast is doing some kind of in person interview today. Not sure if it'll air this week or next.
do they want this drama to be a flop ???? why the promotion is that bad ???
IQIYI is sharing broadcast rights with MangoTV so it seems like they aren't gonna spend much on promo. Just don't put too much high hopes on results lol
In the end nothing was released today right? But seems the drama is going to be released on 30 Jul?!
lool the promotions for this drama is a MESS. hope they release it today because Olympics starts tomorrow and will take up most of the attention on social media.
i read a few articles recently claiming that the series will be released in this year only
could be possible. modern dramas don't have long post-production. I think this drama is suitable for colder weather (maybe it's the rainy scenes in the trailer lol)
Yeah so excited for that, still waiting for both leads to officially confirm even though it is essentially confirmed.…
I liked them together in TPR! they were the bright parts of a drama that was unfortunately let down by the script. The scriptwriter for Our Generation is great though so I have no concerns. I just wonder about the setting.. I read that it's a period piece set in the 90s
scriptwriter's past works is kind of all over the place lol Monster Killer is a cult hit and the Xu Kai drama also did well but his modern dramas are a flop and the last one with RJL was a flop too.
I think the cast is doing some kind of in person interview today. Not sure if it'll air this week or next.
