Though XS is the one pursuing her, it’s not that she’s not showing any interest. She is reluctant to start a romantic relationship with her business partner. Those are two different things. On another note, Gao Yi never showed any romantic interest in her, nor in any way chased after her. Even when he saw the news about that confrontation scene during TY’s 100th anniversary, he never made a move to contact her. I don’t understand your motive behind this comment apart from spreading hate on the actress who really did a great job as JH.

I think YJ quits TY but not his online business. It is still going strong, but business with TY is now off. Apart from his online business, he is also running a wonton restaurant so it’s not like he’s out of job.

The story progresses well IMO. It’s just we are now in the episode where the angst happens. We kinda expected it from the start. And the way these episodes were shot, the dialogues thrown, the acting, those are exceptional. I don’t know what you mean by “not going too well” but if you refer to the script, I would beg to disagree.

I was surprised they show that high school kiss. All the while I thought car kisses are censored.

Agree with you about OFL's storyline. The screenwriter was trying to create a hilarious scene to the point of being unrealistic. Too many cliches as well. I am proud of myself for not giving up on this drama. I guess the reason is I am trying to prepare myself for when RWTW ends. Just the other day, I caught myself teary eyed when it finally hit me that we only have RWTW until Sunday. I was also like this with HL before. It's so hard to let go.

I didn't drop OFL yet but I couldn't help but compare. RWTW is far way better than OFL in terms of plot and dialogue. There is also focus on the business side of things that educates you in the world of finance. The leads are also mature and focused on their individual career.

I am really very interested on what happened in the novel though. It's a pity I couldn't read nor understand Chinese characters. I hope the English translation will come out very soon. I strongly believe Xu Si loves Jiang Hu in all honesty without ill intentions. He didn't approach JH as a revenge for what happened in his family, nor to use her for Baoxing. I think he believed that Jiang Hu's ideas align with his, that is maximizing profits above anything else. So, there should have been no issue if TY will be sold off to Aneda as long as the price is right.

Yes. The steamy scene should include them undressing their sweatshirts, leaving only the white shirt on for XS and tank top for JH.

Can somebody explain in detail what was that meeting inside Xu Si’s office about? I couldn’t fully comprehend what it was but it’s giving me a chilly feeling. Tears are threatening to spill by the end of episode30 though I have readied myself for a long time that angst is coming. Still, my heart aches.

This is the best scene for me in this episode. Huhuhu! Just simple pure bliss from our lovebirds. Since they officially became a pair, I dreaded the day when the angst will come. And it seems tomorrow is D-Day. I am almost teary eyed at the end of episode 30. Storm is coming. The slap. The breakup. Sad nights at the break of dawn. 😭
