Right!! It really feels that networks are forcing studios to meet their episode quota on the slimmest budget cause I've never seen an episode add absolutely no value to the plot like this one.

Finally caught up on the last two episodes. I'm a bit disappointed to see such weak characterization especially in a mature BL. The characters' behaviours just feel almost random and unbelievable and some characters are missing some decent character development to give us consistency and realistic transition. The events in this series seem equally as random and don't add value or detract from the story.

Right, this show and especially this episode felt like they pulled a plotline out of a hat before writing each scene. None of the events came together well. what did grandma dying add to the plot? I loved grandma but when she died I felt nothing. I just thought, this is disappointing writing.

The bed scene. I just couldn't. The absolute worst part for me was the kissing sounds. They were so wet and the microphone picked up every little noise.

Honestly I would love a BL where they just say screw it, we're gonna put the ML and side character together.

Right!!! like okay he ran away when he was around 20 but the fact he did absolutely no maturing in the last 10 years. It feels like a high school/college BL but they just changed the setting.

It's just a bit of a distraction and brings you out of the story not to mention makes BL bland a boring. The stories are already fairly similar.

the way this comment is everything I was feeling about this episode, I thought this show would improve as we progressed but it didn't but now i'm too far in not to finish it

I'm only watching because honestly there aren't any better shows airing right now.

Bad writing really seems to be plaguing the BL industry. Watching this show I feel this huge clash between the cinematography which has this quality feel to it and the writing which is just so bad and incohesive it just fails to elicit any type of emotion which this genre should. I felt this especially for this episode which honestly should have been a big episode but ended up being lack lustre. I've been waiting each week for this show to pop off but it never has.

All the house decor seems to have this 90s/00s look. It's the first time I'm seeing this in any BL and its taking me back to that MTV reality show timeperiod.

What?!? I think Din and Ken have more chemistry than Ken and Dr. L. They felt very much as devoted lovers.

Yess!! I've been so disappointed with the BLs this year excluding GMMTV's stuff surprisingly. It's strange because the cinematography has been top notch and makes the shows look high quality but then as you watch you realise the script writing is lacking and boring which is most of the show. It's been getting so frustrating lately.

yesss my complete frustrations during this episode. I was really rooting for this series as NetJames chemistry in Catch Me Baby was sooo good. I honestly think the same dynamic would have worked better. Plots that explore abuse are so hard to do well. I'm yet to see a BL do it well. I think they should of gone in a different direction. I'm hoping the next few episodes will impress but I have a strong feeling that this show will fall flat.

youtube comments are often always super positive. it's only when i've seen shows romanticising rape that I see negative comments, so not the best reference. But yeah MDL is often tough but BL shows aren't known for their quality when it comes to story delivery.

I'm sorry but this show is not great. It's got great cinematography and excellent couple chemistry but the story is just so repetitive. The last three episodes have been completely the same except with a little bit of new material.
