Uea and King's chemistry is honestly fire. Unfortuantely I'm not liking the way the story is being told. We keep getting so many fragments of new plot but we aren't fully exploring the stuff that has already been introduced. There are so many little scenes that feel like fluff eg. them pretending to talk on the phone, which could be spent delving into the important plot points.

I just wish there was much stuff going around, it feels a bit padded with junk.

I kind of like how they separate the two plotlines though. To me it feels like two sides to Uea. The romance with King but also this compartmentalisation of the abuse that he has faced. At some point I think we will see these two things merge when Uea is able to open up and process all the abuse he has faced. The execution could definitely be better, in what way I'm not sure.

I hope one day we get a BL where the lead who has gone through some trauma actually goes and gets therapy

I was so fucking scared that the sister was getting abused too. I thought it may have been the reason that she wanted Uea to come home.

yeah bratty is difficult to do, I wish they had dialed it down and made it less pathetic.

I loved him in Cause you are my boy!!!! Everyone hated it and fair because the story was crap but Frank and Drake's chemistry was sooo good. There was just a naivety to it that was so beautiful and made go I want that.

Right, the arguing really shows how much they care for each other. Also, in this episode you see Day slowly starting to realise again why he likes Itt. Itt isn't afraid at all to push back against his roughness.

Okay I take it back this show I kinda like the two leads chemistry. It's beautifully toxic. Itt's whining is still annoying, I really can't stand pathetic characters.

Damn I'm 6 mins into ep2 and Itt is just so bratty like a 12 year old it's actually so annoying to watch. I'm pissed cause Frank has so much talent than we see but cheekiness is where he shines.

This episode was really really good. I like how they showed us more of Uea's past as confronting as it was. Now we can understand him better as a person especially with his complex behaviours in his relationship with King. Props to the writers for using these traumatic scenes for the purpose for us to understand his story more. Too many other BLs show a character's trauma only to allow the other lead to play hero and lead to romance rather than show how this serious event has moulded the character.

This episode was illuminating. Finally clarified quite a few things and now I'm interested in the story again. Ken and Din's chemistry is fire, but I aint feeling Ken and Mr Lue quite yet. The setup for their romance feels a bit forced with scenes of them strolling through the market after something serious happened. I think it's because we don't really know Mr Lue's intention of looking after Ken. But I guess that's part of the mystery. Also did the character Fin appear in previous episode? I don't understand the reason for Ken going to see him.

Preach, I'm hoping we get proven wrong but history says otherwise.

Force and Book are delivering in this series. The acting is quite good especially compared to Enchante. The character Cher suits Book so well I'm impressed. It's really allowing him to show a wider range of emotions. The production is considerable better too. I'm just hoping they nail the plot. Things seem to be moving a little too fast without a complicated enough conflict to have a lot to say but it's only ep 2. The other problem is the workplace hasn't been built up well, Cher doesn't feel like an intern at all and that pulls me out of the story a bit.

Pastsenger is showing you don't need the biggest budget to make a great BL, you just need to tell an interesting story.

Okay this show is not bad. It's one of the few BLs I have seen recently that has a central plot. The only problem is so far there is barely a BL.

Is it actually that bad, I watch ep 1 and it was okay?

Ep 3 was just sooo bad. Every question I have isn't from developing an interesting mystery, it's from leaving out important details and it's very frustrating. I'm spending a lot of time doubting myself and rewatching previous episodes to check if I missed something. Like who is Kan which Ken looked for who is apparently his underling (at the restaurant?). Maybe he's the guy in glasses who wanted time off to visit his dad. You can keep the mystery element but knowing why a character is going somewhere or doing something is super important.
