Am I the only one totally turned off from the noncon kiss? Like are we serious? Suddenly kissing a waiter in a…
That's why RJ doesn't really make sense to me as a character. He gets introduced as this random boy having dinner with his mum and dad for the mum's bday and then he has a sort of a tantrum (implying family issues) and decides to come out of the closet to them by kissing his server(?!?). The server is now taking RJ under his wing because RJ gets kicked out by his parents. His addition to this storyline feels a bit random and forced.
Im sure this drama is made for watching it without thinking. Just a nice, funny fluff, nothing deep
idk I feel like they are going for something a bit deeper than fluffy since we are focused on an orphan who developed trauma when he was a child with the dentist and a slightly socially awkward dentist. Also we have the guy who got kicked out of home after coming out by kissing his stranger male server.
I don't totally get the story this BL is trying to tell. I find a lot of the characters' interactions and behaviour unrealistic and unusual and I'm constantly wondering why a character is behaving like that. Also, RJ was randomly introduced this episode right? It also feels like the characters' traumas have consumed their entire story which is weird to me. Overall it's not bad and Taiwan tends to have their characters drawn up with complex themes so I will be interested to see what the next few episodes bring.
This is terrible. Just another bunch of tropes stapled together. I'm so tired of the same drunk scene over and…
Right. You know I thought the rest was forgivable but EVERY BL including a wipe down scene is becoming a joke!?! It irritates me so much. I swear I've watched someone get wiped down in a BL 3-4 times this week and it's only Wednesday.
Omg that was amazing. I'm not gonna lie it was dirty and I loved everything about it. I hope they keep this up. Also the cinematography is amazing but I'm still worried about the story. I lost a bit of trust in Star Hunter's ability to deliver a good story with Gen Y so we will see but dayumm, I love angst so much.
This series was soo fun too watch. I've been watching mostly BLs recently and I've getting kinda bored because of their lack of plot but this kept me on edge at every second.
That's because the main plot isn't the curse but the relationships between the couples, Akk & Thua accepting their…
I'll correct myself. The balance between the curse and romance plot is off, especially with all that has been set up with the curse. I think Khan and Thua is done well and I really feel Khan's progression with facing the fact he has feelings for the same gender, but Akk and Ayan (despite having amazing scenes), storyline is a bit disjointed especially from what we saw in ep 9 and doesn't have enough material to really fill the show.
Other thing for me the curse storyline is important. It's strange to create all this mystery and tension around the curse and lay all these clues and subplot like Ayan's book, Ayan's uncle's suicide, Chadbook and Thua's dad and then not really continue it in a meaningful way. There's plenty of material to explore in this show to keep the interest.
Sorry for the rant but I really want BL shows to mature. I'm really rooting for this series but I need more story whether that be romance or curse and I know GMMTV is fully capable of doing that, but they are too focused lately on giving us fluff pieces, in a genre that's already full of that.
I'm really liking the romance storyline but the main plot progression has just stayed constant and SLOW for the whole series. Three episodes are left, I think we should have picked up the pace by now.
I am sure they'll sub the episodes later like they did on 'Rak Diao'. I mean why would they give an English title…
I don't know if I have the patience to do what I did with Rak Diao and I'm still sad over the fact that Rak Diao ended up being cancelled :( I might watch it when it's fully released.
I'm dead 😂😂😂, the gay characters are the side couple and not the main aspect of this show but those are the only tags listed now on this page.
