this is my most fav reba drama in term of romance (emphasizing on romance bc i literally do not care about everything else i recommend doing that too it was so long and business aspect is exhausting 😂)

and this is one of my most fav chemistry in whole dramaland, i like natural banter conversation and where all the sweet stuffs are just natural and this couple delivers that.

i like him here compared to are you the one, altho are you the one do deliver comedic ZWY, but stoic ZWY felt robotic there.

regardless it was based on history doesnt change the fact that he sucks in this drama omg 😭 esp when real ppl can be realky suck as well like those movies based on psychopath. remember ppl are commenting the character not the actor, and just bc a character suck doesnt meant they are not the best written character, so many thing can be true at once! i had a cheater and manipulative character as my most fav character, he sucks and i hate him but at the same time he is my most my fav bc he is so well written

i mean....what could possibly happen? we have pretty much all the guesses already, either she survived or not and im seeing this having a happy ending so she will survive, how it happen or the details doesnt matter.

i mean i havent watch but i have read the novel so i kind of share the same sentiment, some things you pretty much will know how it will goes so stopping made no difference

not a romance drama, the main female character doesnt even exist yet in this movie

simply put you prefer having more romance, it is a family drama hence the focus on family sentiments. (not against your opinion just pointing out)

original watchers like the show due to the family bond and family sentiment hence it wasnt unnecessary for many of us. my likeability for go ahead went down once the romance start bc i think it's unnecessary and ruin the precious bond. esp the fact that it was not well written and i still think the same in the kdrama, i just dont like the fact that there were no proper development before them getting together and there were never proper highlight to shows FL changing feelings for ML imo, it was abrupt in both. agree on dal and haejun bc they are one of the best changes they made to the original story

haejoon doesnt love her in the original story tho....it last like 2 ep iirc? or probably only one. he was kind of brainwashed by his friend thinking he likes her, but he didnt. it all stems from him wanting to have a sense of belonging hence him breaking down in tears after knowing they dated saying "why no one wants me". i really hate ppl saying there were love triangle bc in original story bc they werent. unlike the other two in the found family, haejun is the only one without parents, he feel insecure by the lack of blood relations and want a ties to the relationship so he wouldnt lose it, bc he feels it stronger with relations hence him confessing to FL. from the beginning you could see he never really see her as a woman like that.

i might be wrong but im pretty sure they were dubbed by other voice actor and im just not feeling it ☹️ will keep watching bc story seems interesting and got me interested in watching the movie and reading the novel as well

i mean he grew on me in best choice ever but i absolutely hate his character at first that i had to stop watching bc i just cant accept that he will be the end game for FL. as for as beautiful as you, i personally dont like the changes they made to 'saintify' him nor do i like the changes they made for the drama, i love the novel and i like how flawed his character is in novel compared to the person they made him in the drama hence im unable to enjoy the show and ofc dislike his character as well.

ofc variety is nice that's why he should be given more comedy roles like gu yanzhen. the ratio of his cold/stoic characters to his comedic characters are like 5:2. and by cold i dont actually imply completely cold character, eg him in she and her oerfect husband, he is not cold but at the same time not the kind of explosive character either, more like calm?

and at the end of the day it is not the matter of me liking or everyone else liking his character or not, this man has huge potential for comedy i just want to see him more in the genre.

i havent watch but i think it explain better why he fell for her in novel, nothing exactly happened after the kiss and it certainly not bc of the kiss, but it's her indifference, everything about her leaving, and attitude after rejected confessions that irritate him and he doent understand why he felt so. i feel like it just a moment of realisation where he unintentionally fell for her and he didnt realise it. he also realised he has always given her special privilege before in the name of her helping him chasing her friend, but privilege is still a privilege, basically her behaviour is far from what he has always looks in partner but he can accommodate her, it's this series of realisation imo. and also like with all his previous partner he is kind of calm, controlled but she makes him feel all extreme emotion after she start treating him like a proper boss. personally i really like the novel and even the embarassment i had for her in the beginning can easily be forgotten bc i always skip the part 😂 but i love reading his extreme emotion for her bc he doesnt understand why she irritate him so much at first

feel like i have seen so many representation of girl looking for partner in a drama, it would be more relatable if they stick with FL early characterisation in the novel, not looking for partner, forced to go to blind date. and i definitely prefer their first meeting after reunion in the novel than reuniting on matchmaking event.

love that the parents esp her mom are just chill parents who did not force her to go to blind date, love this changes compared to the novel but hey if her mother isnt forceful, then she wouldnt meet him again on blind date

he need to stop taking or they need to stop giving him cold male lead roles, he does it so well that most of the time it is annoying too see his character (as beautiful as you, best choice ever)

pls give him more comedy roles like gu yanzhen this man is made for comedy he excel in it and he does it so so well too, i know it also probably his sharp face that keep landing him cold guy character but gu yanzhen was iconic and i miss liking his character

i dont want to have high hopes but i love mayday so i do hope they made a "here after us" vibes for first frost too 🥹

i mean personally for me idt he was faking/hiding all his cheerfulness as he was potrayed in HL. i feel like his real personality is more like sarcastic chill indifferent guy but when we see in HL we more inclined to see him as comedic relief, but i definitely think it's a matter of POV and when combined with how we understand his character in TFF, you get new understand of what his character actually is.

idk if im explaining this right but basically when i first read HL novel i would view him as funny character but after reading first frost i would reevaluate my understanding of his character in HL novel, and intepret all his behaviours, talking and traits in TFF and compares with how he was written in HL. so basically, on my first read of HL i would find him funny, but on my second read i would read and imagine him saying all this stuffs in sarcastic, indifferent, witty kind of way.

maybe that's why i prefer if HL drama sang yan would retain more of sang yan chill character in TFF novel bc while i was always entertained by sang yan, i think he would never say and do all those stuffs in exaggerated kind of way as HL drama potrayed him. basically he is and never was a comedic relief, he is still the same as he is in both novel

baby sister and widowed refer to jia lin and xuyan right? i have not watched this but i think that was also pretty much how they were written in the original drama? (gentleman dignity) ofc i might be wrong bc it's been years since i watch it but i remember liking them out of all couple in the show so i kind of like want to watch this just for them

idk about this version but the original is totally not bl for me and i like it that way personally, it is fun to see pure friendship in a show, nothing against shipping but i think love between friendship is as precious as romantic love

same but i dont have any drama to watch and i'm kind of curious of what will happen, it is decent watch but not the kind of drama that i anticipated everyday, the last time i love a drama was the rise of ning tho i wasnt in it for the romance, just loving the plot

bc it is from adaptation, ahn hyoseop can act but he has act in 2 drama adapted from original source and i dont like his intepretation. i think he is good if the show is not based on anything. i personally had no issue with lee minho as YJH, ik many said he is a bad actor but i have seen him as doctor and assassin (if that was what his role in city hunter) and i think he was okay. he wasnt horrible and his acting was decent to me

im not seeing lee soohyuk as YJH and sometimes finding his acting stiff but heavy on siwan

i cant relate with the not feeling romantic chemistry comments bc their relationship are what i love and there were my IT couple in 2021 (along with zhou siyue and ding xian) everyone has different preference for the kind of love they like, and i like the kind of love mika and xing kelei had for each other. there were so many popular romantic drama that ppl swear has the best chemistry but i personally not feeling them bc it could get too cringe for me i would find myself suddenly making face bc i couldnt understand the sudden emotions in some other romantic drama. but the feelings i get from this is just right, the banters the development, i love it. maybe they act like friends for some, but certainly there are lover out there who also in this trope irl so it isnt too weird 😄
