Watched for the second time. And cried for the second time. I thought id handle it better cuz i know theyd die this time, but nope the tears came anyway 😭 even i decided to stop at ep38, qian zhao’s, sun lang’s and Yuan lu’s deaths were so tragic 😩

Ok i’ve finished rewatching. If u plan to see all the characters still alive and well, stop at 34. If u wish to see closure of the main leads actually marrying, An emperor getting what he deserved, and closure to the power struggle at Wu palace, then stop at 38. 😉

Anyway, if u stopped at the point they escaped from An kingdom, youd miss quite some action and the mainleads were still separated. If u want to see them back together, stop at the point they journeyed to catch up with the rest of the entourage. That was after sun lang was killed but before Yuan Lu’s death. I think that episode was the perfect point to stop with acceptable circumstances. At least main leads were together and only 2 were killed of the Six sector’s team.

Well the top 5 of the Six Sectors troop starts dying at Ep 32 if im not mistaken. The first to go was Qian Zhao. Am going to stop at 38 cuz my fav Yu Shisan was still alive by then..

Actually you can stop at the episode where they rescued the emperor and escaped An kingdom. Qian zhao died during the journey to Ye county after the rescue. If you dont wanna see any of the entourage dying, then take that episode as the ending. The writer decided to massacre the whole main cast once they stepped out of the capital of An.

I hope the writer doesnt get possessed and go off on killing spree with this one too. I had a hard time recovering from AJtL’s ending. Currently rewatching the show with intention to stop at ep38.

Yep go no further than 38 if u dont want to get your heart stabbed by the writers.

Revisiting this page because I had just finished bingeing LoSL TWICE! When i watched PA in 2020, I had a hard time moving on. I actually read the whole novel thrice cuz I just cant get enough. Both CQ and YWY were badass in their leagues! And now that I’m here, I feel like rereading the novel again 😆 I think the novel has the most badass FL ever, gosh how I wished they made s2 so we can have visual closure.

Does anyone know where I can read the novel translation? The one on shushengbar dropped it and on MTL was too horrible to decipher. MTL translation is even worse than on google translate, for starters XiaoQi had so many names that I keep getting confused, sometimes the machine would write Xiao Qi, Xiao Yan, Xiao Xiao, Xiao Min, Xiao Huai, Xiao Yue my god it’s so hard to keep track and they all refer to Xiao Qi! Xiao Yan had the most appearance, i wonder if the character Qi was similar to Yan that made the machine confused? All in all it’s too frustrating trying to understand the one on MTL. Try this,

Oh well, he’s a general leading thousands of soldiers into battle. It would be ridiculous if the wife tags along. Would be a different story if her character was Mu Guiying-like, but she’s not so she cant shadow him into battle.

Take out Mai and Mr Xu out of the picture, he’d be dead even before he manage to get to his father’s army. To take over command. He’s so damn lousy. The only thing that’s been keeping his head on his shoulders is her family’s connections and loyal people.
