I hear you. And what was with the matching pj’s? Were we supposed to think they’d had sex? It’s such a let down especially when the leads have chemistry. I thought the couple in Our Dating Sim were the most natural and real seeming couple that I’ve seen in a KBL since To My Star.

Wondering if Mahiro had a crush on him back then.

Is this based on a manga? And the streak (no pun intended) of JBL’s with a food theme continues. Loved the first episode.

At certain angles they definitely look alike.

I’m not sure what Dong Hee’s problem is. I mean Ho Tae is gorgeous, tattooed, sings to him, confessed to liking him for years. and even learns Spanish for him! What more does he want? And how dare they not give us their happy ending, unless there’s a season 2.
I liked the main couple, but I can’t with the kisses. At least they hugged and were affectionate, but it’s just so stilted. But good for WY for standing up to that jerk manager guy. And the overcoat game on this show was next level, lol.

But didn’t you catch that passionate elbow action OVER the coat? LOL. At this point I’m like just don’t bother. I think things are changing slowly. With Our Dating Sim in particular and Eighth Sense, they showed real attraction and acted on it. It’s a start I hope continues.

Second couple syndrome strikes again! I did like the main couple, but the long history and secret yearning of Ho Tae and Dong Hee was more compelling for me.

I had heard that about the quality of the kisses in Japanese dramas, but although the hetero kisses certainly weren’t particularly passionate, they were definitely more real seeming than the gay kisses.

Yeah if there’s even a kiss. I’m watching Me, My Husband and My Husband’s Boyfriend and the difference between the hetero and gay kisses is obvious. It’s annoying since they’re trying to make a statement with the show, but can’t even make the kiss scenes equal.

I remember that they were clever in how they never quite got to the kiss in BL World. Hopefully it won’t be a dead fish kiss, but it probably will be. Sigh.

That he is. I’m kind of curious is this show will have a kiss. If I remember correctly, the Man Who Defied didn’t actually have one with him.

I dropped it too. I just realized I didn’t care when the next episode came up.

I seriously could watch a show that is just close ups of his face and hair in all forms- up, down, pulled back, falling forward, with roots and not.

He is very talented. He’s able to do comedy as well as sad and wistful.

He even looks different from Mob, though I absolutely loved him in that too.

He’s cute, but I really want to hug Yutaka. He projects such need and hunger for affection. He breaks my heart.
