Well, at least it wasn’t on his ear, lol. I did expect a little more from Tae Joon after all that brooding intensity, ngl. I mean he just keeps getting hotter in every episode. Also, does anybody else get flashes of Chimon with Won Young at certain angles? I don’t get the hate for Gongchan’s acting. I think he is doing a good job showing his attraction to and confusion about Tae Joon. I love Ho Tae and Dong Hee. Ho Tae’s determination is so great. Still liking it. Maybe the kissing will improve. The first kiss in TMS was pretty bad too.
And…..that’s how it’s done. I think this might be the best KBL I’ve seen this year, if not ever. I want more episodes of their sweetness and affection. I just wish they could have shown them telling their colleagues, but understand that might not be possible for them. The kisses were tame but heartfelt. It was the clear and continual touching that showed how much they loved each other. This gave me everything I need. It’s a favorite for sure.
I loved this sweet little show. Such a lovely story of love lost and found again. I did have trouble with the idea that Fumiya wouldn’t have remembered meeting Ritsu for the first time. That doesn’t ring true to me. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show. The acting was really top notch.
My problem with the lack of kiss is because this trip takes place 2 years into their being a couple and they did not interact like a real couple in love does imo. They seemed uncomfortable even with the casual touching and closeness that couples share. If they could have shown that kind of intimacy, I wouldn’t care about no kiss or a kiss on the cheek. But the tentative weird kiss on the ear was a fail. They should have ended the series at the start of their being together where some awkwardness would make sense. That’s why it didn’t work for me.
Yeah you both totally didn’t remember each others names, sure. I can’t believe how good this is. Episode 2 and I’ve got stomach and heart flutters galore. The surfing lesson was very cute. The ex suspects about Jae Won. The faces she makes are hilarious to me. Yoon Won is so fun and the girl can sing.! This show feels different than most KBL’s somehow. I am totally hooked.
LOVE the opening music and song. The music through out was really good. Jae Won’s friend has a bad case of envy and low key doesn’t really like him. That ex-girlfriend is going to cause trouble. That look she gave Ji Hyun was not nice. On to episode 2! The longer episodes are a treat.
Sure, but then why would Tae Joon have loved him? If he were good looking then at least we’d understand why they were together. Maybe it’s to show that Tae Joon isn’t just attracted to someone’s looks.
Do you mean that an unattractive man seems more believable as a betraying jerk? Regardless, Tae Joon was way out of that guy’s league and they didn’t fit together. Though maybe that’s the point.
They’re showing a couple who supposedly have been together for 2 years. It’s not disgusting to expect they…
Again, it’s not greedy to expect a couple of two years to kiss. I have never seen a hetero series do that. In fact hetero shows would have them kiss as soon as they liked each other. Gay people deserve love stories that depict them as real couples who act lovingly, which includes kissing. Also, they both acted like it was weird and wrong when the other tried to be close and affectionate. That is not how couples usually act after 2 years together. Please stop judging people who think it was missing reality. As far as I can tell, nobody expected sex on this show. We’re not wrong to comment on the lack of intimacy, not sex, but loving behavior from this couple.
i can't stand these disgusting comments about no kiss scene really!? do you guys even know what the actors have…

I’m actually kind of at a loss with these last 2 episodes. The time skips felt clunky to me, but I get what they were trying to do. I just don’t think they got there. I don’t think couples two years into their relationship act like that.
Maybe it would have worked more if it took place at the start of their being a couple. It just seemed like the actors weren’t comfortable doing anything more.
It’s a poor ending to the show for me. It almost feels like they went back and filmed the last episode later. Shin Ye Chan’s face looked heavier to me than in the high school episodes. And why does Viki show episodes 8&9 coming when it’s clearly over? Weird.
Definitely. They showed how attracted they were to each other. Their chemistry was on fire. Maybe that’s part of the problem with ATL; I didn’t get much chemistry between the leads, especially the chef.
