Hey, Oh's knee test on Bas right? That was after they made-up.
I find it very interesting why Teh was pushing Oh so much to pursue Bas. It didn't make much sense first.
A big part of Teh's grievance was Oh telling everyone the secret. That made him feel equal to others. But, to make him special again Oh told him an exclusive secret about Bas. That elevated Teh's status but at the same time created even higher place for Bas in Oh's mind.
So, the reunion was bittersweet. He knew there would be another "male" always even more important than him. He felt a twinge of unhappiness after hearing about Bas, but also felt "weird" about feeling jealousy to a potential lover.
TO suppress the weirdness, he became even more enthusiastic than Oh himself to get them together! But, by doing so he is potentially strengthening Bas' status in Oh's mind. It's like everything else he does, tries to help bet keeps making things more unfavorable.

Really liking Hoon's character more and more. His quiet support; he doesn't interfere or asks too many questions(the drive back from the resort ), doesn't give false hope that Teh won't get hurt (clearly says many people won't be ok), doesn't want to control Teh's life to protect him from hurt (as the sister in GSP), doesn't try to make it easy for Teh (by offering to help with mom), doesn't make being gay something to be unnecessarily proud of (with effusive support, by projecting himself as an ally).
He just lets him know that he is ok with it and it is up to Teh to decide whoever he likes. Teh can't change society overnight, but there are also people who would be ok and he is ok. It's like showing the full reality to Teh.
Teh is very lucky. Most people don't get this kind of support, even if they have supportive people around them.

If they used lipstick, I suppose the same point would have been
made, but the projection to society would not be so strong. People may not even notice that much if you are wearing just lipstick.

I still find it hard to connect it to Teh though. He remembers that Teh had hesitated the first time when Teh's hands moved from the back to his chest . But, underwater, when Teh caresses Oh's chest, Oh clearly notices that Teh is enjoying that.

I remember he had the rooftop room, that steamy sex scene, also there was this dialogue where the hustler guy asks "why should I choose you?", And he said something like :"my d**k has soul"! It was quite impactful movie!
Sorry, I should stop arguing as my memory is mixed up. I remembered as it ended up as they breaking up, but just read a synopsis that they had reconciled.

So, its the right one, but the guy pursued him and made him fall for him, right? And then bowed to family pressure and moved on? That's dumping...no? By "official", you mean public?

I dont think so, as when Teh says he will make flashcards, the camera spans to Oh's face and he was clarly upset.
He was happy before that when he offerred for group study at his resort. The excluding came after that, when Teh named all of his friends except Oh. That made him even moee upset.

Do you think Oh will like to explore more of the Bangkok gay scene and that would make Teh uncomfortable?

We can interpret it all we like, but the issue is what is in the director's mind!! But the details and significance of each scene and dialogue is striking!

And Oh was upset, look at that scene once more, when Teh says he will make flashcards, Oh's face clearly drops.

I really don't think so. The use of mirror is intentional. I also thought of the Snow White story, where the queen asks the mirror who is the most beautiful of all and the mirror shows the image of Snow White.
I had written a post on it before. I will repost it. Please feel free to contradict if you think it is wrong.

However, during the conflict of coming out, the image takes every little evidence in favor of itself and magnifies it hundredfold to prove to the self that he is actually not gay. "If you were gay, why were you curious about breasts?". This is the confusion of Teh about breasts."

Frankly Oh, I don't clearly understand. If he had feelings for Teh, he would never tell him that he likes Bas when he sees that Teh is upset with him. Plus, when Teh offered to tutor him, he was like, ok sure, but not totally overjoyed or something. At the same time, his face totally dropped when Teh said he would make flashcards for everyone in the group, like his exclusive thing was taken away. So, its contradictory.
And why someone falls for someone is very difficult for me answer. TO this day, I don't know why I fell for some people in my own life, like there was nothing good about them, so more difficult say why someone else fell ....lmao.

the university names seem to be fake, so no way to tell. Teh and Mod get in the same school. Bas' school was not actually shown, but most likely he got his first choice by his reaction, so there is a good chance he and Oh are in same school.

After reading all the opinions, I think the issue is how you separate b/w friendship 'like' and the romantic 'like'. I would say desire for exclusivity and a physical attraction are the differentiating features. I have/had quite a few "best friends" during my life but never felt either for any of them. Though they are very important, it didn't matter if they were close to other people too and didn't feel any physical attraction towards them..
Both of them happen for Teh before the boat scene. He was crazy jealous when Teh chose to go tutoring with Bas rather than him.
The realization that physical contact with Oh felt good definitely happened during the boat scene. But, the first instance must have been the back scratching after so many years before they went out to eat after the tutoring session. The regular childhood ritual acquired a new dimension at that moment.

That makes perfect sense. I always thought what was the point of the bath scene! He thinking about Teh liked it, and using extra shampoo, that is the only explanation.

In the bra scene, Oh is looking at himself through the mirror. So, first he is looking at himself without thinking about others, and he really feels good about it.
He wants to portray this nice image of himself to society, and posts his pic in IG. But, then he thinks about how the mirror will look back at him. His image through the mirror of society is very different from what he wants to project. Then he has that reaction.

Before I thought I maybe over-analyzing, but as I watch it again, I really don't think so. This one too much nuance and depth.
