Teh obviously always liked Oh, just suppressed it. The Chinese act in his interview of the first scene, first…
I think both the factors are working here. Teh made his point about never refusing a gift from a friend. Then Oh used Bas to make the point about how he always believes in him. Throughout that, he was looking at Teh's reaction. But, after Bas confessed and before they left the room together; during this interval, he didn't look at Teh even once. I found that very strange.
I think he genuinely tried to move on. Again, reason tells him to move on, but instinct tells him to use it to get a reaction from Teh.
I don't think he was trying to get a reaction "knowingly", because otherwise he would never say that to Teh right before the test. Because he would be aware of the possibility of Tae reacting and ruining his exam. He would never do that knowingly.

Interesting question, I would say no. Although, he would have considered that as a way of making up to Oh, but the burden of disappointing his mom would be too heavy. He needed a trigger, and his friends provided that. Without a trigger, the bullet would have remained in the chamber. What do you think?
Teh obviously always liked Oh, just suppressed it. The Chinese act in his interview of the first scene, first…
Yeah, he logically knows the right thing is to move away given Teh's attitude, but just can't help it. As their friends say to Teh, Oh was in despair. I had noticed the disappointment when he saw Bas instead of Teh, but not the watching the window part. I read an interview, where PP said that every scene was so difficult, like a scene with just holding a phone was also difficult and they had to do retakes. The screenplay is very intricate.
I was rewatching the first episode, and the build-up of the first fight is so intricate; the hair-gel, the teacher saying he imitated his friend, everyone and particularly Bas laughing at him, then the small victory of grades, then watching Bas being close to Oh and the fact that Bas got 30 while he only got 29, and then he finally gets a chance to take down Oh when he hears Oh is planning to write a Chinese play and he pounces on it, and then the regret. Its just amazing.
I noticed when Oh-Aew liked Teh in the episode 2 at the end where they were on the boat and playing around. I…
During the restaurant-jealousy scene, Teh was fine with Oh being close to others till that point. He only got upset when he found out Oh had messaged Bas without telling him, like he interpreted it as Oh got bored spending time with him and preferred to spend time with others. That is like his biggest fear.
wow! hadn't thought of that. Why is that I wonder! Is it because Bas was always a replacement for Teh in his mind?…
I may be totally wrong as I am projecting my personal experience here, based on what you said...lol Its like you have this image of how an ideal bf will be and then the person you actually fall for is very different. You pursue the ideal based on a "should", as in I should be with a person like this. But then when you actually fall for someone, there is no choice or thinking, you have to go after him as you just can't help it!
Anyone notice how with Bas, Oh was a lot more shy in pursuing him but when it came to Teh he would try to be seductive…
wow! hadn't thought of that. Why is that I wonder! Is it because Bas was always a replacement for Teh in his mind? The first scene where Oh shows interest towards Bas is in Bas' car in Ep1. That's right after Teh's hurtful words. Like he didn't want Teh to hurt him, and then because it happened, Bas' presence made him feel better??
Hey guys have a question to ask you all. When do you think Oh-aew first started liking Teh. This can be little…
Teh developed feelings much before they got back together. He wrote pages and pages of "Rival" and "Intimate" before they even got back together. He took the initiative to fix the relationship and start tutoring Oh just so that he could be closer to him. After he gives the flashcards to Oh, he says that Oh asking him to help study makes him very happy, and asked him to say it again. He just didn't realize his feelings. As he said during the hammock scene, "I only know that I want to be close to you and don't like it when you are close to others." Attraction and jealousy. Attraction developed long before. As they became friends, it started developing to desire for exclusivity, like the "unique" best friend and gradually more.

Teh obviously always liked Oh, just suppressed it. The Chinese act in his interview of the first scene, first episode; someone has kindly translated those lyrics, (they are in this section somewhere) It is about the character telling his lover how they are a single ray of light shining in his heart, only water to soothe his soul.....I think this alludes to Teh's feelings for Oh.
Hello, Please watch episode 5, and you will feel the same way too! I like Bas a lot more after ep 5, and hope…
You mean Aew would have fallen for Bas, right? I also think that's possible, but I think with Oh's personality, no matter Bas or anyone else, he will come running back the moment Teh is ready to openly accept his love. :D
Sooooo I'm going to be that ONE person....and ask.....why does everyone feel bad for Bas???....I have yet to watch…
Hello, Please watch episode 5, and you will feel the same way too! I like Bas a lot more after ep 5, and hope he gets his own story, but Teh/Oh is non-negotiable.:D
"maybe him and Hoon could hook up/be a thing in season 2 lol:D"
Oh, pls no no no, not that cliché! He already got a gf, let straight guys remain as they are yeaahh :D
Thinking of the bra scene and Teh's confession to Hoon scene listening to this song.
